Chapter 14: Chapter 16
Jean grabs Stellen to get him to calm down. He calms down. "Since he makes you happy, stay with him." He grabs Jean's hand and walks away. "Wait!" he turns around. "Can you keep this a secret? At least my family doesn't want them to know about this." he laughs then walks closer to me. Wyan gets in front of me. "Whatever you got to say you can say where you are." Stellen glares st Wyan. he then laughs he pulls out a box and he opens it.
"It's funny I actually planned on asking you to marry me. I never realized that I have never actually known you, Jessie. Why is it that the only thing you have the courage to say to me is to keep your affair a secret. " he threw the wedding ring to Wyan. "Keep it, you might end up needing it or not."
"Stellen! I really am sorry that it had to end this way." he walks away. His presence slowly disappeared.
Stellen and Jean left the party. A month after our break up, me and Wyan made it official. Since Stellen found out about me and Wyan he hasn't come to the house at all. I texted him and let him know I was moving out but he didn't respond. I moved into Woman's house a couple of days after.
Everything started to feel different with me and Wyan when we made our relationship public. Constant fights, he'd go missing for a couple of days, he stopped working. It was long that I realized I made the wrong choice. He was the total opposite of what Stellen was. I was starting to wonder if I made the wrong decision. When I was with Stellen I didn't have to worry about cooking, cleaning, or how to pay the bills because he did all that. But with Wyan... I decided that I was going abroad.
I wanted to have a clean start I break up with Wyan and go abroad. I tried to contact Stellen before I left but he wouldn't answer so I left without telling anyone goodbye. After a couple of months, he gets in contact with me. We started over as friends. He told me about his successful life now that I was gone I started to slowly fall back in love with him, or maybe it was his financial stability I fell in love with. I asked if we could try again but he went quiet. "I don't think I could ever look at you the same way again Jessie. We may be friends again but I didn't do this because I wanted to. Our families been like family before we were even born? I wasn't trying to break up the relationship our parents have. But that doesn't mean I'm forcing myself to be with you."
Unable to believe that he no longer had an ounce of feelings for me I came back from abroad. He's loved me since we were in middle school. I am determined to get back what's rightfully mines.
