This book is a mess. The ML is really cute with the FL but that's the only good point of this story. The change of scene makes absolutely no sense, the characters have clearly lost their brain since.... perhaps chapter 1. I mean, their reactions makes absolutely no sense. They're even less than 1D characters at that point.

The storyline is interesting but the writing is a mess. The plot is interesting though not uncommon. The corporate conspiracies and family dramas abit too much. Both FL & ML seems to have rather weak personalities. They have mutual blindness towards each other that they don’t even they are actually playing each other in the first place. Was rather disappointed that they don’t even sense each other when they had their first mtg as respective heads for their own grps.
I like the strong characters of the leads but I Keeping their true identiTies and hiding their real feelings from each other is quite a no-no. What Is disappOinting is the part when two people can get away with their schemes given that they have these powerful people at their commands.

Some cute moments between the FL and ML but the book is messily written. There are too many times when scenes are jumped from one place to the next, leaving you wondering when and how they suddenly ended up in a new place without explanation. Information is skipped so the novel ends up fragmentary it leaves you confused. All the ML does is get his people to beat up anyone who messes with the FL. The FL is supposedly also a secret big boss but I don’t find her that remarkable so far. I had to re-read paragraphs to understand what was going on. Too annoying 🤷🏽♀️.
