Chapter 64: A Game of Seduction

The next day was dawning peacefully over the embassy of Drakemore in the desert Kingdom of Vordania. It was the weekend, and Rosa woke in the last dark hour to find Kael's side of the bed empty once again.

She sighed. If anything, I should be flattered, right? Perhaps Kael had suggested these sleeping arrangements to give her the best bed in the embassy, or maybe he simply never intended to share it with her. Not once had he actually slept beside her, and not once had she felt content about that fact come morning...What's wrong with me, I should be glad that we're not sharing a bed!

She slipped out of the sheets and moved around the spacious room, her long black nightgown flowing around her. Her pink hair cascaded loosely over her shoulders, but she still draped a shawl over herself planning to step out of her room. I need to find Silver.
