Aurora was stunned after what Xavier said. Was he…. Was he really missing her? Goosebumps rose on her skin as she remembered the way he called her 'his'
Before she could ask him if he was serious or not, she couldn't feel his presence in her head anymore. She huffed as she fell back on her bed.
A small smile crept on her face as she imagined his handsome face calling her little weak wolf. She used to hate that nickname and she knew she would feel offended if it was anyone else calling her that but anything that came out of his mouth just sounded…. Good.
She gasped as she sat up straight with her mouth and eyes wide.
"Oh my! Am I falling for him? Please tell me that's not true!" She muttered to herself in shock then she suddenly started laughing. She didn't know if she was laughing at the fact or at herself.
"There's no way I'm falling for him. He's like eight hundred years older than me. That's supposed to be illegal right?" She heard her wolf scoff but she didn't say anything on the matter and Aurora was glad about that.
She needed to collect her thoughts and think things through thoroughly. She couldn't fall for a Demigod.
When she freed him, he would go away and she'll be left here with a broken heart.
"Maybe it's his blood in me that's making me delusional, yeah that has to be it" She uttered trying to convince herself but even she knew how ridiculous that sounded.
She groaned as she fell back on the bed. She needed to get rid of these feelings before they grew into something bigger that she couldn't control.

Xavier placed his arms on his knees with his eyes closed. The only thing he could hear was his breathing and the hallowing sound of the cave.
He needed to clear his head. Something wasn't right with him. Why… after all these years why was the anger, the hatred, the drive for revenge disappearing?
He couldn't let that happen. He had spent the last seventeen years thinking of how he was going to make everyone pay and that was still his plan. Nothing in the world could stop him.
His ears shot up as he heard the bussing of a bee. He groaned then opened his eyes slightly just in time to see Paxton change into his human form.
"You have been visiting me quite often recently and I'm this close to keeping you away for good" Xavier murmured calmly but the authority and warning in his voice was very hard to miss which made Paxton gulp.
"Calm down. I just came to ask you some questions then I also want to inform you on some other stuff" Paxton mumbled as he sat besides Xavier who let out a sigh.
"How many times do I have to tell you that I don't care about what's happening in that realm?" Paxton sighed.
"I know, I know but guess what? You have no choice but to listen" Xavier harshly turned to Paxton and Paxton immediately shifted backwards.
"I'm sorry, that was a slip of tongue and this doesn't really concern the realm but Leonard is awakening" A light flashed through Xavier's eyes but it was gone in an instant.
"Hmm" Paxton furrowed his eyebrows.
"Hmm? Is that all you can say? If Leonard wakes up, he's going to kill everyone here just to get you out and I don't think you want anything happening to that little wolf girl I saw a few days ago" Xavier turned to Paxton with a scowl.
"Get out," Paxton sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry but you know the way Leonard is. He went to sleep because of what happened to you and you instructed him not to interfere but if he wakes up now and nothing has been done, he's going to take matters into his own hands and almost everyone is going to be killed" Xavier turned away from him then closed his eyes.
"Good. That's what I wanted anyways" Paxton eyes widened then he sighed.
"You made all these realms the way they are now. No matter how much you try to deny it, you don't want it all destroyed" Xavier suddenly began laughing. His laugh held no humor, it just sounded sinister. Like pure evil itself.
"You don't understand, Paxton. I'm not the same Xavier you used to know. The only reason I would stop Leonard is because I want to kill everyone myself. I can always start the realms from scratch just like I did five hundred years ago" Paxton sighed. Why did he always have to be so stubborn?
Paxton was about to say something else when Xavier placed his hand over Paxton's mouth as he stared at the door.
"Leave this instance" Paxton turned towards the door and he could sense that little wolf girl. His eyes suddenly brightened as he thought of a plan that could potentially end his life but it would be worth it if it worked.
Xavier turned to Paxton with a glare when he saw that Paxton wasn't leaving.
"Do I have to repeat myself?" Paxton laughed nervously as he slowly stood up from the ground. He kept glancing at the door wondering what was taking her so long to get here. With the way Xavier was watching him, he might actually die before he even put his plan into motion.
"What are you…." Xavier began but before he could complete his sentence, Aurora walked into the cave.
Everything seemed to pause at that moment. She was about to smile at Xavier when she noticed the figure in the background. Before she could even think, the figure appeared behind her and grabbed her by the neck then placed his long sharp nails on her neck.
"If you really want everyone dead then you won't mind me killing this one" Aurora's heart sped up at his words. She squeezed her eyes and winced as the finger nail pierced her skin but before she could feel any real pain, The figure behind her was pulled away and slammed into the ground so hard that he fell through the cave, seven feet under.
Aurora glanced at Xavier and she gasped when she took in his appearance. He suddenly looked like the devil and for the first time, she actually felt real fear.
Xavier sneered down at Paxton who was groaning and moaning in pain then turned to Aurora and froze when he saw the fear in her eyes. He had always wanted her to fear him because everyone feared him and that's how it was meant to be but why did seeing such intense fear in her eyes make his chest uncomfortable?
She opened her mouth to say something but instead she staggered on her feet and was about to fall to the ground but Xavier was quick enough to catch her.
She peered up at him and her lips quivered slightly.
"I'm… I'm afraid of this Xavier" With that, her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she lost consciousness….
