When Song Cheng saw the people before him, he frowned, puzzled.

A sense of foreboding grew within him.

He gulped as he glanced at the two police officers standing behind Shen Liangchuan. Without a word, Shen Liangchuan took the marriage certificate from him and walked towards the villa with the police officers.

Shen Liangchuan hit the doorbell.

Very quickly, one of the housekeepers came, opened the door and ushered Shen Liangchuan and the police officers into the house.

Upon entering the living room, he saw Qiao Lian sitting on the sofa, still in her costume from the set. He was relieved to see her, but frowned deeply nevertheless.

Lu Nanze, too, was sitting on the sofa; he had a leg crossed over the other. He looked at them with a calm and unruffled expression.

That smile—both evil and charming at once—hung on his face effortlessly. "To what do I owe the honor of your visit, Mr. Shen? How may I help you?"
