"How do you have a daughter?" Jamie asked.

"Her mother was pregnant with her before I was turned into a vampire…she's human. Your problem is with me, not her. I beseech you, let her go"

Jamie strengthened her posture.

"You love her" she asked.

"...with everything in me" Ezra answered.

Jamie nodded like she understood.

"I know all about love, Ezra. I used to have a brother…and a daughter. Elijah took both of them from me and you are going to tell me where I can find him or you are going to feel that heartbreaking pain that comes with losing a loved one" Jamie moved closer to him. "Give me what I need or Janice dies!"

"You can't possibly…. She's a child!" Ezra yelled.
