Chapter 43: Saved by the devil

I watched as the maids started sharing. The first table shared, happened to be the one occupied by the she-devil. She gave me a dark, smug look when she saw me looking her way. But the smugness turned to anger, when I pursed my lips at her.

I wriggled my brow a bit and smiled slyly.

She called her hands into fists as she glared down at me. Her eyes housed many promises in them as she did so.

"Darling," I would have said, had it not been for the fact I've already said enough for today. "It doesn't fit you whenever you frown. You look like a fool."

I giggle to myself, at the thoughts. It's damn hilarious when you are cursing someone in your mind, but they can't hear you.

You can say whatever you like. However you like it, and they will be none wiser.

The servants shared the food table by table.

And as I watched, I noticed something. Food is shared according to their ranks, or should I say, according to the time they came to this place.
