I am going to reread this a million times, I swear, it is SO good! It's intense, it's dark, it's sexy, it's cute, it's ABSOLUTELY worth every penny and then some!
This is a fantastic read about two people facing their darkest fears while opening up and accepting each other. I love strong FL characters, and Lila is amazing! ❤️ The writing style is fluid and vivid descriptions transported me into the penthouse to see Dane cooking, and to Lila's office while she was on the phone, and inside the car when Dane tried not to look at Lila because she looked fantastic in that dress... and to many other places. The plot is well thought off, and it goes into the mental state of the characters to the point of making me laugh, sigh, cry, and grit my teeth while cheering for Dane and Lila to stick together and find their happily ever after. Thank you AimeeLynn for sharing your wonderful talent with the world! I am a fan. 👍

Wow…what a story!!! I was on edge the whole time. My nerves were all over the place. Their love is so sweet and pure. Great great work Aimee. I loved every page…though I wanted to kill a few people in those pages. Absolutely wonderful book.
At first I avoided this book because of the title - I do NOT gravitate at all towards CEOs or powersuits..not my cup of tea..but I do enjoy a steaming romance, richly painted charachters complete with their own tics and traumas …and an actionpacked crime novel. THIS WAS ALL THAT IN ONE SINGLE STORY! Now I have read everything from Aimee on webnovel so far (march-2024) so she better please keep working cause I need some more of her storytelling ❤️
I love this book like I love all her books. Fantastic characters - all of them - even the evil ones. You feel with them and for them. The end is really hard as you will be so much into the story that you do not want it to end.
I’m writing this review at chapter 43. It’s tough to put down, as are all of Aimee’s books that I’ve read thus far. Lila has so much spirit; I love her strong character, unwilling to back down to strong men. Dane has definitely met his match! Can’t wait to see where the story goes from here!

Twisted, turning, past, future, and present! WOW!!! It makes you have to remember the past to understand the present and future. keeps you upon your toes,(so to speak).I really enjoyed the plot, though complicated,, is truly quite exceptional. I highly recommend this book.
First book I read from this author n I fell inlove with her writing!! Little did I know her work got better!!
The thrills and cliff hangers in this story are amazing! Aimee does beautiful writing! Strap in for this roller-coaster! The pay offs for the darker moments are totally worth it!
It is a thriller! Action, suspense, love, plot twists, etc…it’s got it all! It was great! The characters were well developed and lived up to all expectations.

i dont know how Aimee does it, but every book she writes is just so amazing. This story is very different from the others i have read, but very good also. if you like mystery and high action with a little hanky panky, settle in, grab some snacks, you will be binging!
This book made me fall in love with this authors writing. It is very dark and very sexy with a super strong and sexy ML and an equally strong FL, which I love. No wallflowers here. Strong writing, deep characters and a strong plot will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages. Luckily this author has quite a few novels in different genres here and so far I have loved them all!
Nerve wracking and cliffhangerhangers make this a great book to enjoy. Love the happy ending and the struggles the main characters had to live though. Love does conquer all.
I read the story now that it is completed and I feel in love with the characters and wanted to learn more about them and their individual struggles. The story is so enticing that I just had to read it all after getting some single use FastPasses 😅
I don't even know where to start with this review. I read this entire book in just a few days because I couldn't put it down except for when I HAD to 😂 The storytelling is awesome, the characters are complex. Twists within twists sometimes. It kept me on the edge of my seat & my mouth hanging open at times. Just wow is all I can say 🥰 Well done, Aimee. I don't expect anything less from you ❤️❤️❤️
I binge read this book in 24 hours!!! SO VERY, VERY EXCITING! Full of twists within twists and characters whom you love and some that you will hate with a passion! Excellent plot, character development and writing! As with all of AimeeLynn’s writing, it is a MUST READ!!
This was a great read, I could not put it down! You will not be disappointed. I just loved how the author developed the characters as well as how she built up the suspense to keep me engaged.
This is a great story and I’m liking every chapter. I don’t like slow burn stories, but this one worth my time and my money so far. The characters are well built and they are evolving nicely. The story give us a thrill and hang us to the next chapter. I’m gonna come back when I finish it.
This story has everything you need to experience every different emotion. You will laugh and cry. The story will make you stressed out one minute and feel embarrassment for a character the next. This was an excellent roller coaster ride to read.
Wait!! Is there anything more than 5 star.. Mehn, I love u author, u are a hotshot😘😘😘😘😘😘.. Suspense filled, love, betrayal, hate, jealousy, touch of real comedy hahaa: all in one book. Am definitely gonna read over and over again.
