The next day…
The entire entertainment industry is abuzz with the news of a scandal that involves the well-known actress Ma Liling and an unknown man. Pictures of her being carried by the man are circulating around the internet along with those hateful words from many of her haters.
Since this is the first time that she has gained media publicity through the bad press, everyone became interested and wanted to get more out of it.
At this time, Ma Liling is inside the office of their CEO Yi Beiwei playing with a small cute little boy. Meanwhile, Yi Beiwei is busy taking calls from many people who wanted to get information about the 'scandal'.
"Haha… I think the world is going crazy… Those people seem to want a scandal more than the truth…" suddenly Yi Beiwei said with helplessness.
The company has already explained what had happened at that time to the public. Along with pictures that denounce the one in circulation. The company also warned Wan Mei Mei about the evidence in their hand that she would be exposed as the mastermind if she stirs up more trouble. This same evidence has already been sent to her agency.
However, since Ma Liling's image is too pure and clean, it seems that many are thrilled that she, at last, showed her flaws. It seems that those people are dismayed knowing about the truth of the matter and enjoy seeing her flaws more.
"Liling… After you are done with your remaining work, I will let you rest for 2 months or until the scandal subsided. That way, we can prepare for more countermeasure and make sure that you can make a bigger comeback and your popularity would sure to increase more." Yi Beiwei promised.
Another thing in Yi Beiwei's mind was the endorsements of Ma Liling being affected. However, for some unknown reason after they sent the news they did not receive any withdrawals of the contract, so this made her heave a sigh of relief. But she is still facing another problem, and that is the contract with the Jiaolong Corp.
This contract is very lucrative and it would really shoot Ma Liling's career internationally. However, she is afraid that this scandal would really have an effect on her.
"Then… What about the upcoming contract with the Jiaolong Corporation?" Ma Liling suddenly asked.
"Sigh… Well, we are still going to have to face this sooner or later. They still haven't called yet, and we already agreed to meet tomorrow. Go home and take a rest, then we will meet at the contract signing tomorrow…" Yi Beiwei said.
Ma Liling just nodded her head and continued playing with the little boy. Yi Beiwei sat down beside Ma Liling and touches the little boy's cheeks.
"Do you miss him?" Ma Liling asked as she shifted her gaze to her friend.
"Hmm… Well, I could not deny it… But I see him every day through his son. I can't ask for more…" Yi Beiwei said as she smiled when the little boy suddenly laughed.
The two continue playing with the child in the office.

Meanwhile, in Jiaolong Corporation, Yu Bai is looking at some documents and reports about their prospective model for their new brand ambassadors. They are going to hire, three well-known celebrities, and are going to sign three contracts, for the three different brands under their company.
However, one of them is having a problem right now.
As Yu Bai read about the data on Ma Liling, he was a bit stunned as he seems to have recognized that woman.
"So she really is very famous." Yu Bai thought as he read more about her information.
He feels a bit interested upon seeing her impressive resume and accomplishment as an actress, a model, and a singer. But he just shrugged his shoulder after reading for a while and move on to the next one. After reviewing the candidates, the meeting began.
In the meeting, many began to focus on the scandal of Ma Liling. This is because she is a very promising actress with many awards behind her. Most of her drama series and movies in her career in two years have high ratings and blockbuster hits.
The thing that made her unique among other actresses, is that she has never done any kissing scene in any of her works before and her mysterious charisma. And this is the reason why she was chosen for the new brand. But because of the scandal, it would have a great effect on that brand.
And so they began to discuss what to do next and how they would choose the right model.
Jiaolong Corporation is different than other companies. Instead of trying to find a model by contacting their agencies, they would hold auditions for that modeling role.
And once this happens, thousands of celebrities would flock and would try to get those lucrative contracts that could shot them to stardom. But of course, once the actor and the actress could not maintain the intended images, then their career would surely suffer.
And right now, Ma Liling and two more actresses are competing for this lucrative contract deal from Jiaolong Corporation for one of its particular companies under its name.

The next day…
Six famous celebrities are in the lobby of Jiaolong Corporation. And this has garnered the attention of many employees of the company. The group is then led inside a large conference room where many of the panels of judges is sitting.
Ma Liling is one of them, and she just silently sits on the chair while listening to the instruction given. She is confident of herself and she is also not concerned about the rumors outside.
Meanwhile, beside her two other actresses are talking in a hushed tone. But their words could not escape her sharp hearing.
"She has the guts to appear in this place. If I were her, I would just hide and never show my face… angel my ass… she is nothing but a bitch…"
"Shhh… She might hear you. You know her company is bigger than yours, what if they suppress your company…"
"No way that is happening… with her reputation in ruin, how could she face the public? Well, I guess she's just thick-skinned."
While the two are talking some people near them could hear their discussion. One particular lady suddenly chuckled.
"Pfft…!!! Thick-skinned… I like that." The lady suddenly commented.
