Yu Bai and Ma Mian are in their own world as the two silently eat while giving each other simple glances which made those who noticed them cringe seeing the shy reaction of the two. It's like watching an old movie where the two would overreact whenever their eyes met and look away.
"This is frustrating… I'll stop these geeks from ruining my mood." One of the women from the group who are eyeing the two said as she suddenly stands up.
Since it is still their break time, this group has decided to spend their time in the cafeteria. This group of ladies is known in the company as the Angels of Jiaolong Corporation. The reason for this is because they have the beauty to back it up.

When Yu Bai and Ma Mian finished their quiet lunch, a tall and beautiful woman with a curvy body and an almost perfect figure suddenly stood near their table.
"You two are eyesores… Why would you two act like that? It's ruining my mood." She said in a haughty tone while one of her eyebrows is lifted up.
Yu Bai felt a bit awkward as he did not expect that one of his employees would do such a thing. He always tells the managers and the other bosses to treat others fairly, and only show force when needed.
However, who would have known that one of his employees would be a bully.
"Plus, I haven't seen you here before… who are you?" she asked Ma Mian while looking down on her.
She scanned Ma Mian from her to toe and noticed that her clothing is a bit baggy as if she is wearing another clothing inside her outer clothes which made her look a bit fat. Plus her clothes look cheap and she is not wearing any makeup to cover her freckled face. This made the woman look down on her more.
Yu Bai on the other hand is already seating in anger and only his will is holding him back. How dare this woman insult his wife? Does she know who the queen of this corporation is? While lowering his head, a cold aura is already emanating from Yu Bai's body which made the woman shiver a little bit.
"Miss… Please… Don't… insult… my… wife…" Yu Bai said with gritted teeth.
He would not let anyone say those words to hurt Ma Mian. And he would protect her if needed. He knew how fragile, shy, and weak his wife is. So how could he let others bully her?
When the woman heard that the ugly girl is the wife of the man her friend has a crush on, her expression suddenly changes. She thought that the two were just a simple couple and she could easily shame the woman and show him the real attitude of the woman to make him realize that her friend is better.
But now, everything changes, if she is the wife, then no matter how shameless she is, she would not want a married couple to divorce just because of her.
So upon realizing that she misunderstood everything, her expression changed.
"Ugh… I didn't know… I'm sorry, I… I thought you two are just flirting…" she said while stuttering.
She even feels weird upon reacting thus far and did not know what just happened and why she apologized. The woman walks back to her clique while thinking about what just happened.
"Hey, Sandy… Are you okay?" the woman who has a crush on Yu Bai asked.
"Huh? Yeah… I'm fine… I… I just feel a bit cold and weird… Hihi… Let's go…" the woman said which confuses the rest.
When she left the rest followed while one of them stayed for a while and threw some furtive glances at the two while having her brows knit.
She did not hear what her friend said but from what she saw, she noticed her crush saying something, then that ugly woman suddenly lifted her head and looks at her friend.
Then her friend suddenly came back as if confused.
This made her think that something is wrong but she could not put her finger on it.
After they finished lunch, Ma Mian decided to go back to the company as she has already accomplished what she wanted to do in her husband's company and needed to report back.
Though she could not enter the selection, she did not despair. In fact, she accepted the fact that her scandal made everything difficult for her at this time. Losing is not the end of the line, she just has to fight back and plan her strategy again next time and hope that she would be once again successful in her career.

After reporting back to the company and donning in her Ma Liling status, she went to her CEO and discusses her planned break as Ma Liling. After they were finished, a satisfied smile appears on Ma Liling's beautiful face.
"I need to go home and cook something for Yu Bai… Hihi…" she thought as she showed a big smile on her face.
Suddenly, she saw Manager Lan going out of the elevator. When Manager Lan saw Ma Liling, she showed a happy expression and quickly grabs her arms.
"Liling, I know that you are down and sad… Guess what I have for you…" Manager Lan said as she showed a slight smile on her face.
Curiosity appears on Ma Liling's expression and she pouted her cute lips as if she did not want the suspense.
Manager Lan suddenly pulled out a shopping gift check from her back.
Upon seeing the gift check, Ma Liling's eyes went wide in excitement. Manager Lan knew that this is one of Ma Liling's weaknesses. Although Ma Liling has a lot of money, she always wants to shop using discounts and gift coupons. She did not know why the two of them shares the same hobby, but she likes it.
When the two were about to walk to the elevator, someone patted their shoulders.
Turning to look who patted then, the smiling Yi Beiwei appears in their sight standing behind them.
"You're not going to leave without me, are you?" their CEO said with a beautiful smile plastered on her face.
The two looks at each other and could not help but chuckle. They forgot, their CEO has the same hobby as them.
The three happily hop on the elevator without a care in the world.
