The quietness of the trailer gives off an eerie vibe as a figure stood rooted on the floor with a thick blanket in his hand. His previous excitement seems to have been doused by cold water as his forehead began to sweat profusely.
He knew that something was wrong as soon as he removes the blanket and saw the figure lying on the bed.
But one word is registered inside his mind and this word is the thing that is making his body began to tremble.
Trap…
This scene and that figure on the bed show that everything is a well-planned trap.
A normal-looking woman is currently looking at the man who is showing a dumbfounded look on his face while looking at her. There is no angelic beauty, nor sexy lady laying in that bed, but instead a normal-looking woman with some pimples on her face which is far from the goddess who should be lying in the bed.
Right now, Jack Li is filled with confusion and is currently could not believe what he is seeing. No matter how he looks at the woman lying on the bed, he could not compare that face to the beautiful Ma Liling.
When Ma Liling was brought inside the trailer by him, she is already aware of what is happening. In fact, she did not actually drink the bottled water. Ma Liling did not trust anyone and would not drink anything except those that were given to her personally by manager Lan.
When she saw the bottled water on her seat, she immediately knew that someone is trying to target her. Hence she acted this out so that she could find who dare try to scheme on her.
Using her makeup ability she uses this chance to change her appearance and clothes, now she looks like an unassuming normal young girl lying on the bed.
So when the blanket was removed, she showed a look of surprise on her face while looking at the young man in front of her.
Jack Li suddenly realized something and quickly reacted. His body darted towards the woman and wanted to cover her mouth. He needed to take care of this woman first and prevent her from shouting. If someone heard her outside, then it would truly cause him endless trouble.
However, as soon as his body landed on the bed, that figure has already rolled away like a scared cat.
"Hey, don't shout!" Jack Li said with a low threatening voice.
The woman seems to be holding her tears back and is showing a scared expression. So Jack Li's courage became great that he pounces once again towards the woman.
Who could have expected that the woman would suddenly dodge to the left which made Jack Li hit the corner of the wall? And this strong impact made his forehead bleed.
"You… If I get my hands on you, then I will kill you!" he growled.
As soon as he gives off that threat, the expression of the woman suddenly changes. This time, she seems to be angry and wanted to fight him.
With his strength, Jack is confident that he could take down this woman if only he could catch her.
And so once again his figure jumps forward to grab the woman's arm.
All of a sudden, when his body is in mid-air, the woman extended her hand to grab his arm. Then like a snake, she suddenly twisted her body and her long legs wraps around his arm and locks his neck in place.
The hold made Jack Li knew that if he could not escape this, she would either break his arm or choke him to a faint.
He could not help but curse in his mind as the woman is actually an expert and is just acting like a pig to eat the tiger.
But no matter how he tried to exert his strength it seems that the woman knew her art and is able to grab his weakness.
"Who paid you to do this?" a low and cold voice echoed inside the room.
Jack Li could not help but shiver upon hearing that cold voice that seems to seep into his bones. But his sense went back to the present as he suddenly feels pain in his arms being hold by the woman.
"I repeat… who paid you?"
Crack…
Jack Li could feel his arm slowly breaking. He could not lose his arm, as a fitness trainer and a playboy, how could he suffer himself from losing an arm. Plus his resolve is not that strong. He could abuse those who are weak but against the strong, his will is actually very weak.
So he gritted his teeth and opened his mouth.
"It's… Wan… Miss Wan Mei Mei…"
"Who are you to her?" Ma Liling asked immediately.
She knew that his guy is not just some normal brute of Wan Mei Mei if what he is saying is true. This guy has a secret relation with Wan Mei Mei according to what she could see from this guy's face.
The guy is handsome and is a hunk, plus his ways and the way he fights are a bit different from a bodyguard; hence, she could conclude that this guy has an ambiguous relation with Wan Mei Mei if what he is saying is true.
Feeling the pain in his arm increasing, Jack Li could not help but feel fear and immediately blurted out.
"She… I mean, I am one of her men… We… we have a secret and ambiguous relationship."
"I already answered your questions can you set me free now?" Jack Li said as he did not want to lose his arm.
But before he could say anything more, Ma Liling's long legs which are wrapped on his neck suddenly tighten which choked the air out of his lungs.
When she stood up, Manager Lan has already opened the door of the trailer.
"Take those confession records…" Manager Lan said as she commanded Ma Liling who acted like a lady bodyguard.
Since she is wearing a different face and different clothes she acted the part this time.
Ma Liling takes the phone of Jack Li and connected it to a computer. Meanwhile, staff entered the trailer following Min Feiyong. He is a computer expert within the staff and was requested by Min Feiyong to help her with something.
"It's time to turn the table…" Manager Lan said with a serious expression on her face.
