Chapter 7: Ch. 7 In this small town

I woke up as the light shines though the window. I yawned and untiling my hair. My hair flows down onto my shoulders. I then put the clip back on my hair. I'm sure Sakura isn't woke. I pecked out the room looking around seeing nothing but the light peeking though the windows. Sakura must still be asleep. I quickly when to change and when out the door. I was luck enough to get this extra key for our room. I walked out the hotel seeing some people already on the streets working. Seems pretty busy in the morning especially when new people arrive at the docks. I wandered around seeing people and children pass by. It really makes me happy seeing all these child happy I never really see that when I'm in a castle all my life. Seeing all the market stalls set up and the shops opening. It was really mesmerizing. I kept walking until I bumped into someone. I fell down on my bum seeing stuff scattered around me. "I'm so sorry," he said apologizing as he held his hand out. I looked up at him. Ren?, I said as I laid my hand on his. "Oh uh Jupiter correct," he said recognizing me helping me up. I nodded as I helped him pick up his stuff off the floor. What a coincidence that we met again, I said casually. "Yea it is," he answered. What are all those stuff for? I asked curiously. "Oh um just stalking up on supplies," he answered. I felt as though he was hiding something but it wasn't my business. Oh yea, I said as I step out of his way. I guess you should get back to what you were doing then, I said. "Oh," he said looking down at his stuff the then asked, "Heh have you ate breakfast yet." Oh no I haven't, I said confused. "Then would you like to join me for breakfast I'll treat you," he offered. I don't know if he was being kind or felt bad for me. Maybe he wanted to get to know me. Are you sure, I asked him. "Yea I don't mind," he replied. Well since you insisted, I said with a soft laugh. He smiled as he lead me to a small shop. We sat down at a table as I looked at the menu. "You could get anything you like," he said. I nodded as I continued to look at the menu. After a couple of minutes a lady walked over. "Hello are you two ready," she asked. Ren nodded saying, "I'll get an ice tea and a breakfast sandwich." She nodded ask she looked at me. Oh I'll just a ice latte and pancakes, I said putting the menu down. "I'll come back with your order," she said as she walks off. "This is your first time here is that right," Ren asked. I nodded, Yes it is. "Then maybe I'll show you around if you like," he suggested. Oh no no need I don't plan to stay for long, I said. "Oh I see," Ren said a little disappointed. I do appreciate your offer, I said with a smile. "How long will you be staying?" he asked. Oh I never really thought of that I'm really not sure, I answered unsure. "This must be the first time your traveling," he predicted. I nodded slowly saying, Yea. It was quiet for a bit. How about you did you ever think about traveling yourself, I asked. "Well no I haven't actually," he said slowly. Do you plan to? I asked curiously. "I don't know about that," he answered. Well do you really want to stay here cooped up here, I said. Just as I said that our breakfast came. "Here you go," the lady said giving us our drinks along with our food. Ah thank you, I said as she walked away. I started to cut the waffles slowly trying it. Mm it was delicious I never had something like this in the castle. Ren gave me this look as I looked at him back. Hm what, I said questionable. "Oh sorry," Reo said as he took a bite of his sandwich. It was probably how I held my fork I really don't think anyone would eat as proper as I was now. I continued to eat the pancakes slipping on my latte ice drink. "Do you know where you are going to next," Ren asked as he took another bite of his sandwich sipping his drink. I shook my head, No well not yet anyways, I said as I slowly cut a piece of pancake. "Well there's Spring forest," he said as he sipped his ice tea. Spring forest?, I questions as I ate the pieces of pancakes. "Well it's a forest leading to the country side," he said. Wow a whole new place, I said amazed. "You really don't go out much where did you come from?," Ren asked curiously. Oh um-, I said stuttering, a small village. I felt bad for lying but it had to be done. I don't have a choice. No one could know that I am a dragon breed. No one..., I don't want to hurt anyone. "Then it must of took you awhile to leave," he said. I nodded slowly as I continued to eat. We stayed quieted until we finished eating. "How did you like this place," he asked as he slipped his drink slowly waiting for my answer. It was great thank you, I said with a slight smile. I never really been happy because of food, it was really kind of him to take me to this place. I finished my drink putting it aside. "If you like I could guild you though the Spring forest," Ren asked. That would be great, I said. But I'll have to asked my friend if she would like to travel there to, I said as I thought of what Sakura would say. "It could be dangerous", "what if we get lost", she is so protective. "I'll be around the Spring forest if you need it," he said. Oh so you live around there, I asked. He nodded as he pushed aside his drink. Well thank you for this time I appreciate it, I said. "Hey it was no problem at all after all you helped me with that guy," Ren said with a chuckle. I flashed back to that moment when we were at the library. I smiled at him as he lead me to the door. "I'll see you around then," he said as he started to walked in another direction. I waved saying, You too. I watched as he disappeared. He was really a kind person it was too bad that I had to lie to him. But then again he could of been lying to me. I don't really know. I walked around aimlessly around the town as the sunrises higher. The wind blew as I finally when back to the hotel. Going up to our room. Sakura was awake by then looking though the maps and books. I closed the door behind me as I looked at the map across from her. "Where did you go?," Sakura asked. I was just walking around the town, I said casually as I looked though the map. Hey how about we head to Spring forest, I asked looking at Sakura. "Spring forest?," Sakura asked looking though the map. I pointed on the map where Spring forest was located. Here, I said as my finger circled around it. "Hmm it's out in the country side," Sakura said studying it. Yea a whole new place, I said with a little excitement. Sakura chuckled, "If that's what you want we could princess," she said. Hey stop calling me princess, I said reminding her. "You are just so childish," she said. I sighed as I smiled looking down. "But princess the country side is full of thieves and bandits," Sakura said with a serious tone. I nodded knowing what we are going against, I know to be careful and I will. Sakura nodded tilting her head, "That chip are you going to keep it?" I nodded as I put my hand over the clip, Even though I ran away from my kingdom I know I have my reasons for leaving and exploring the world, I said looking down. Sakura smiled slightly as she handed me a sword. My eyes widen as I looked at it. "Here I think you earned this," she said as I grabbed it. I moved my hand across the case. Wow, I said softly. I took out the sword slowly seeing my reflection. A princess like me should never have a sword or even carry one. I didn't think I would have a sword but here I am. Thank you Sakura, I said quietly as I put the sword back in its case. She smiled, "Your welcome Jupiter," she said. But is this sword really necessary?, I asked as I lay it on my lap. "Your mother wanted you to have it," Sakura admitted. So you knew I was escaping because of her, I asked. Sakura shook her head, "Somehow she knew I was going with you so she gave me that when I when to get supplies." I smiled as I looked down at it. "She's really something," Sakura said with a smile. I nodded slightly stroking the sword. "I'll go take a look around town would you like to come," Sakura offered. I shook my head, No I don't want to disturb you, you could see the town for yourself, I said. She nodded as she quietly walked out. I when back to the room laying on my bed with the sword besides me. I'll make this trip worth traveling for, I said to myself as I closed my eyes slowly drifting to sleep.
