Chapter 122: Chapter 122 A bold step

Margaret stood by the side of Mira's door and stared. From where Mira lay, she couldn't see what she was doing but she could feel those evil eyes staring at her. And then she began to hear footsteps approaching her -- Margaret had stepped into the room and Mira maintained her stance. Though she couldn't stop her heart from beating fast, she pretended as though she had been sleeping for a very long time. The only thing she prayed for was for Margaret not to get too close to hear her fast heart beat.

Margaret proceeded further and bent to cover her properly.

"It's only a matter of time and everything will be over, child. You and your father will be under my rule. Until then, sleep well, you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow," Margaret tapped her gently and retreated backwards before leaving her room completely.
