Chapter 110: Chapter 110 The truth

Mira was going to scream but there was no way that that would happen since her mouth had already been covered. 

Slowly the unknown hands released from her mouth and shoulder and that was when Mira gradually turned around and saw that the person that had stopped her was Lilah.

"Lilah..." Mira whispered, her face glinting with surprise.

Lilah held her index finger over her mouth -- a gesture telling her to keep quiet.

"You can't save everybody, Mira. You need to know the truth. You deserve to know the truth," Lilah whispered back. "Listen, Mira..."

Mira, as confused as she was, turned to continue listening to her mother and the maiden. She wondered what this truth was that had to be revealed in such a dramatic way.
