My heart skipped a beat, the news catching me off guard. "An evaluation? Today?"

Chloe nodded, her expression serious. "Yeah, they announced it this morning. I guess they want to see how we've progressed."

I took a deep breath, trying to steady the flutter of nerves in my stomach. I'd been working hard, and I knew I'd improved, but evaluations always made me a little anxious. It wasn't just about showing what I could do it was about proving to myself that I was capable, that I belonged here.

"Okay," I said, nodding more to myself than to Chloe. "We can do this."

Chloe smiled, her expression softening. "Yeah, we can. Just… try not to think about it too much. You're amazing, Elena. You've got this."

Her words gave me a boost of confidence, and I returned her smile, grateful for her support. "Thanks, Chloe. Let's do our best."
