As Isabel's car turned the final corner to the fan meeting venue, I could already see a crowd gathered near the entrance, stretching farther than I'd anticipated. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach, the kind of nervous excitement I hadn't felt since my very first photoshoot.
"Wow," I whispered, pressing my forehead to the car window as I took in the sheer number of people waiting.
Isabel chuckled from the driver's seat, glancing at me with a warm, amused expression. "Surprised?" she asked, eyebrows raised. "I did tell you there'd be a decent turnout."
"'Decent' turnout? Isabel, this is like... triple what I expected." I laughed softly, shaking my head as I tried to get my thoughts in order. My cheeks flushed as I imagined all those people who'd shown up just for me.
Isabel parked in a reserved spot, turning to look at me with an encouraging smile.
