Chapter 149: Appreciation of Life

When he slowly opened his eyes, those unfamiliar ceilings met him back. He can feel everything spinning and it crawled back to his temples. The more he moves, the more he can feel the numbness from his arm. 

The second he felt was this light, but warmth, something on his stomach. When he was about to make a gentle turn, he heard something.

"Meow~"

Those small ears lifted up and the small cat made a yawn while stretching its two paws. Then, when it finally sat, the cat started licking its toes.

Railey heard the door open, and another figure entered the room. It was an old man who looked like in his 40s. He was holding and quickly smiled when he saw the guy in bed wake up.

"How are you feeling?" 

He put the tray to the study table closer to the bed and parted the curtains. That's when Railey saw the dark sky with those pattering raindrops on the glass windows.
