Chapter 229: Wild Kitty

Hue Chi's Queen mother joined in with the guards and Kao Sheng. She arrived to spend the night with her son only to be told no one is to allow to go in as he wanted to rest without distraction. He was all she has and she rather he was properly rested so she didn't demand entrance. She reluctantly agreed and sat in the hall with the guards. He was her pride, her joy, her happiness. She constantly worried that something dangerous might happen to him because of his status.

Everyone was floored when they saw the mess in the room and the half empty beer can.

"Hue Chi!" The Queen cried. "What were you doing? Beer? You were drinking?! In your condition?!"

Hue Chi eyed the beer can as he massages his temples and silently cursed. "What am I going to do with that wild mischievous kitty?"

The Queen scold coldly, "Who give the Prince alcohol?! How did this thing get in here? He's healing, this shouldn't even be in the premises!"
