It all starts the day we are born, the life cycle, the entire process of breathing countless times, the expectations and the brutal truth. That's what Amelia used to think of her life, it all starts with a weird beginning of being born due to reproduction and ends with only one simple stroke of death.
Well, these thoughts were supposed to be occurring, as she was attending AP-Bio being in her senior year of high school, though she never understood the concept of this subject but was amused by the fact that how much the human or animal body is capable of doing.
Schooling in San Francisco was not as glorified as one would think because the education system in Lowes High School was only as good as shown in all these trending series nowadays. Not like she cared much, it was just one more year she needed to cover in this school then she can finally pursue what she really wanted, to be a successful proprietor of an art gallery which would include many abstract paintings and her own crafted sculptures. Which will only start once she gets selected in Cazenovia College, NY.
Although moving to the states is not much clear to Amelia, she moved with her parents all the way back from India only when she was four, in fact, her name was also supposed to 'Amrita' but her mother was way too excited to be in the states she never did actually go through this name, so she ended up being 'Amelia'.
She was snapped out of her early life when Mr. Zelner called her: "Ms. Burman would you like to tell a little bit about evolution?" Mr. Zelner asked.
Taken by surprise Amelia answered the first thing that popped in her brain, "Um, it's just a concept of explaining how humans have evolved?" She replied.
Few chuckles were heard from around the class with Mr. Zelner's official grin on his face, as he said, "Very well Ms. Burman now we know you can't have a great future in Biology. You may sit down"
With that statement, the bell went off and everybody started packing their bags and leaving in a hurry as it was already March and it was the most awaited holiday for all students, Spring break. Many of her classmates had already booked shacks on Baker beach, the popular girls were all set with their bag of sunscreen and all the bathing suits they'll be needing to run around the beach and getting all sun-kissed.
Thinking of how Amelia hated the idea of spring break, she started keeping her books in her backpack but was disturbed by the ping on her phone by her only friend Mia, who was currently taking AP algebra along with physics.
Amelia opened the message which said "Hey girl meet me in the parking lot in 10, we are going shopping! XO"
