Chapter 73: Chapter 73 - Master Shizu's Defense

All of the political leaders stared with their eyes wide and their jaws hitting the ground. They couldn't believe what they were hearing. The other guild masters weren't all that surprised, as everything she had testified to correlated perfectly with Hebishiro's arrival. But the politicians weren't taking it too well, as it was all disturbing to hear.

One of the elders stood up angrily and said, "This is an outrage!" How dare you? "Because of your actions, the gods are going to destroy us all!" he said with all the venom his voice could muster.

"You slaughtered the goddess of war?" a female elder said with skepticism. "Give me a damn break!" "What on earth are you talking about?"

"How were you able to go about it?" asked another elder, also feeling skeptical about all he had just heard.
