"Enjoy your weekends…!" Cosette left her class with a friendly remark before packing her things and leaving. She had been a teacher for a couple of months now, and she could confidently say she didn't regret her decision.
Never in Cosette's wildest imagination did she ever think she would become a teacher. Whether in her previous life or the current one, it didn't cross her. Thus, it surprised her how she enjoyed teaching and being a second parent to her students.
It reminded her of the young Cosette and Maxen. They said the school was like a second home, but Cosette realized that wasn't always the case. Sometimes, school and home were a youth's main battlefield. That was why she thought she could make a school a place a child could have peace. She might not change the world, but at least she could keep youth from becoming another Maxen Devilsin.
"Teacher Cosette." A male teacher approached Cosette the moment she came into the faculty.
Sorry for the long pause. I know Saving the Villain should've ended this month. However, things happened on my end.
My son got an infection, and I had to take care of him. I was observing him prior to taking him to his pedia and noticed his gradual weight loss, despite a healthy eating habits. Fortunately, I get him checked early.
He is fine now, but he still needs to take his meds on time and with strict monitoring.
I couldn't focus on writing, knowing my son needed me more. I appreciate everyone was understanding and patient and gave me time to do what I needed to do as a mom. On top of the guilt I had about what happened to my dearest pumpkin, there is this guilt in my heart, knowing some of you purchased privilege chapters but getting almost no updates.
For that, I am sincerely sorry.
Though I couldn't promise, I hope I can get back to writing as soon as possible and end Saving the Villain. Hopefully, I can start march with a proper writing routine whilst being a full-time mom.
Thank you for being there for me. It really means a lot.
