Chapter 366: Mother in law

When the eerie voice died down Qie Xieling couldn't help but whisper, "I also want to get out of here but I am stuck. If you help me open the elevator door I would be very grateful," while carefully moving forward. 

He wanted to turn back but he also knew that the only way was to move forward. He didn't know when or if he was going to get rescued so he decided to suck it up and keep moving. 

He had outgrown his phase of scaring easily but the atmosphere was especially eerie and his nerves were tense. With each step, his trepidation grew, but he kept walking, his senses heightened and his mind alert.

Suddenly a flicker of movement caught his eye. Qie Xieling turned swiftly but found nothing only the empty corridor stretching before him. He was starting to think that maybe he was hallucinating yet he couldn't shake the feeling that someone, or something, was watching him from the shadows just waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
