Chapter 40: CH 40 ~ Imperial Letter

Eleanora's POV ~

I stood there motionlessly, lost in my past memories.

I could feel Dominic and Liana calling my name but i couldn't response to them.

I want to sleep… everything is so noisy.

I could hear them talking but i couldn't understand what exactly they are talking about.

Then at a moment, Liana suddenly kissed my forehead and finally i felt peaceful; like my mind has gone blank.

But it was a warm and refreshing feeling. My headache seems to be gone and I am much better now than before.

I couldn't think of anything about the past anymore and came to my senses.

"Hhhaah-"

I breathe heavily and finally respond to them.

Dominic lets out a sigh in relief as he was truly concerned for me; making me feel brotherly warmth.

"Elle, we need to get out from here first…"

He said and I nodded.

We currently trespassed and murdered a viscount no less.

We will face many questions about this if we get caught and Duke Raven will surely take advantage of this.
