Chapter 16: 16

Tyra POV

Alpha is a perfect gentleman. He takes my hand as we walk out of the house and constantly smiles as he walks me to his truck. He opens my door for me. I get into the truck and wait patiently for him. I am so nervous, but he puts me at ease with his sweet smile. I never knew a man could be this way. I am waiting for the shoe to drop and him to act like an ass, but it has not happened yet.

Alpha starts the truck, and we begin our drive to the lake. “The lake is not far. My boat is small, but it is nice. It has a sleeping cabin. There is a bar, a shower, and a small kitchen on it,” Alpha says.

“It sounds huge,” I say.

“Okay, maybe it is a little bit big,” he says, laughing.

“Where are we going on your boat?” I ask.

“I thought we would take it to a marina that has a fabulous restaurant. It will take us about an hour by the water to get there. The boat ride will be relaxing, and the view is unbelievable,” Alpha says.

“This is a place you go to a lot?” Tyra asks.
