Aito still kept mulling over those words throughout the day. Even as he rode the elevator to the highest floor of Ryu's company, to Ryu's office, he was still wondering what Toshiro meant.

Why would Ryu love him to death? They haven't even gotten to that stage yet. Why would Ryu do anything to protect him? Again, they hadn't gotten to that stage yet. They were at the very beginning. Dating and getting to know each other better. Toshiro's words didn't make any sense. Yet, it made Aito feel some type of way. Like he wanted to believe it.

Even after all the thinking, Aito couldn't find an answer. He dialled Toshiro's number several times but the guy was hell-bent on avoiding him. Everything went to voice mail. Aito leaned against the elevator wall and heaved out a deep sigh. All this was getting him nowhere. He guessed that if he wanted to know more about Ryu's sister, he should just ask Ryu. With that in mind, his mood brightened up a bit.
