Leilah stood in front of the mirror in her hotel room and started putting on her makeup. She was still wondering whether to arrange her hair or leave it down when her phone rang. Lifting it up, she answered when she saw Ray's number.

"Hey, are you ready to put anyone who defies us to shame?" Ray said

"What kind of cheesy line is that Sandstone," Leilah responded in a monotonous tone as she put the phone on speaker and resumed getting ready.

"It was a good one! Why won't you admit it?!" Ray complained

" You still have a long road ahead of you if you think that joke is a good one,"

"You have high standards…" He mumbled and Leilah chuckled, "Anyway, are you getting ready? My father said that he will be picking you up,"

"Okay, I will text him and let him know that I'm almost ready,"
