Chapter 38: A curious encounter and an ally I
While we were looking for a place to be sheltered and make the plan, Lucy and Kath surprised me by saying that we had to take some books from Coral, from Lucy I understood because maybe there was a book of protection so that dark still does not see us but from Kath I was surprised. While I was looking at Cedric he made a curious gesture while expressing a 'I don't understand it myself'.
I decided not to think too much about it and accept to understand more, so when we were close Kath asked me a curious question
Kath: Mother, when you were upstairs, didn't something curious happen, something out of the ordinary or usual?
Cedric looks at her in amazement and then looks at Dante and Lucy, I for my part look at her in amazement and after a short silence I say
Me: I have a slight idea of your question as such, but if you can explain it would help me a lot.
Lucy: -she approaches me- you see Sapphire, it's that in the crystal cave something curious happened to us with two mysterious women.
Cedric: on the island there were two guardians, they were warriors but their armors were different, both stayed with Sapphire, Soun and Cyrene -then he sees me and while he makes his gesture of remembering something curious he says- now that I remember Zafi you told me that you felt something strange with the Warrior of orange and red aura.
Kath and Lucy look at me curiously and both with a slight voice of emotion ask in unison
Kath and Lucy: What happened? -lit up faces-
Seeing those illuminated faces reminded me of when they were little girls and as I smiled and looked at Cedric they looked at how he nodded his head giving me to understand that it would be good to comment said anecdote, so after being near Coral's studio I said with some intrigue
Me: I will tell them but inside Coral's studio. -I look at them to see their reaction.
Seeing that they both agreed to that request we decided to enter quietly and cautiously, we checked the surroundings again in case Oscuro's guards were watching the whole place; Seeing that everything was quiet and nothing unusual I decided to wait for them and tell everyone what happened.
After telling them what happened Kath told me that the same thing had happened to both of them with both women, Dante who sees her reminds Kath of how one of them spoke and hearing how they both copied her way of speaking Cedric commented that the man in orange also spoke similarly, my skin became bristly again and while I was remembering I looked at the people present and I said
Me: -nostalgic voice- that's how your biological grandparents talked my child.
Cedric noticing how my voice cracked hugged me tightly and in that way I understood that he had noticed how I felt and that it brought back memories, although I didn't know if they were good or bad.
Dante who had commented that the water there was light and pure I understood that we should go there, so we looked for the necessary things to take with us including a map, the books of the bow and the Sword and other things. So I asked Lucy to guide us so she opened the book and showed us the map of how far we had to follow and the distance of it, while I was staring at the map several ideas came to my mind and I preferred to order them without being too quiet.
I noticed how Kath was pensive and to break her silence I talked to her for a while, I asked her for details of that feeling and when I heard her detailing everything I understood why she was anxious, after a while swimming I felt something curious and I told Soun, I gestured to Cedric to hide and I went down calmly, with an angry gesture I asked him to watch me because I didn't want a fight right now and even more with the feeling that someone was watching us.
