Sapphire's Reign

A woman's mother dies and the woman goes to sort out all of the belongings her mother left behind. Her mother left behind a lot of old Bodice Ripper Novels. The woman reads the first Chapter of one thinking it campy and corny and not very creative. The woman opens a few more books, cracking open some to the middle of the books and noting how very similar in plots and tropes they all are. She keeps going through the books, even making fun of some for their covers or their predictability. Then she opens one book and the next thing she knows she is inside the story.
