The janitor paused to inspect the jade turtles swimming languidly among the koi. They seemed unusually sluggish. "Are they thirsty?" he pondered, scratching his head. "Would peeing on them help?"

The statue moved closer to Xiao, who gazed up with wide, curious eyes. The statue's jade-like form shimmered in the dim light, casting an ethereal glow that danced across the walls. To Xiao, it was like beholding a fragment of the divine, something beyond mortal understanding.
"Hello," the statue greeted, its voice now softer, almost soothing. "I hear you like femboys. That's alright. I'm here to see if I can change that."

Lost in thought, the statue suddenly noticed a large silverfish floating across the lake. Its scales glimmered in the fading light, creating a mesmerizing effect. However, as it looked closer, it realized that this was no fish, but a body floating face down in the water.
"Now what's this?" the statue mused, gliding across the lake's surface toward the body. As it drew nearer, it recognized the figure. "Daoist Addition?" it called out, both perplexed and suppressing a laugh.
The statue waited for a response but soon realized that the eccentric Daoist had drowned.

It's an interesting story and theme, i wonder how will the worldbuilding looks like, can't wait for the next chapter! Good luck for the author!! Hope this novel could become a hit and continue for a long time!
Starts off pretty nice and looks decent upto the latest chapter, the cliffhangers feel somewhat forced but overall pretty exciting and cant wait for future releases

I read the first few chapters and they were promising. I need to read more chapters to give it a fairer review, though. But I think this is a good book at its core, and I want to see how the author does it.
Hey, it's me, statue here! Since I've written the novel and know how it goes, it's all going to be a 5-star for me(I might be a little biased), but I understand it might not be the same for you. This is my first time serializing any of my works, so the pacing and character POVs might feel a little off, but I hope to improve as I go.
