Chapter 26: Mountain Glenn

Ian and ruby keeping the first watch for tonight as their team sleeping, ian then heard ruby sigthed he chuckled "bored? i brought my card game. wanna play?" he ask ruby who only shook her head "i dont think thats a good idea. and its only a few hours left before our shift end." ian just shrugged and glance towards their team who is currently talking while laying down.

ian knew what they we're talking and just let them sort it out. just then he noticed that he have a good look at yang cleavage at this angle, 'she really have a bounty full of chest than pyrrha' he thought to himself, and as if noticing ian stare yang glance at him ian seeing that yang noticed him looking at her. he look away quickly.

but yang knew that he's looking at her chest, she just turned her head away so others wont notice her smirk and blush on her face. then she quickly recovered and continue talking to them. a few hours later yang and nora swap with ian and ruby. as ian stand up yang walk towards him and whispered "you like what you saw?" ian just smirk and look at her "i even love the view." he responded to yang not waiting for her response he walk out of the building.

pyrrha who woke up saw ian heading out "ian, where are you going? aren't you going to sleep?" she ask him "i'll just walk around for abit. dont worry i wont be out for long, just wait for me here" ian said to her and pyrrha nodded. as ian went outside evading any grimm he spotted while doing this he is in deep thought.

'i should have watch or even read on what happened in mountain glenn episode. ruby said that the white fang must have a hide out here and then what? whats going to happened in this confrontation' ian thought to himself as he is in trouble of not knowing whats going to happened tomorrow.

sighting to himself he decided to go back as pyrrha might worry about him. as he made his way towards the camp he heard a dog bark he thought that it might be just a beowolf but realized that the bark sounds familiar. he then made his way towards the sound and saw zwei looking down at the hole, he jump beside zwei "hey zwei what are you doing here? and where's ruby-" he ask zwei as he patted the restless dog then he noticed ruby weapon crescent rose laying there beside zwei.

he then realized that ruby must have fallen into this hole he then look at zwei "zwei go get the others, i'll go down and look for ruby" ian said to zwei as he knew this dog is intelligent and can understand him, zwei bark once and run off towards the camp to get the others. ian then grab ruby weapon and place it on his back and jump down.

as he landed what he saw surprised him as right infront of him is a buildings. he look around and understand what this place is "so this is an underground city. also a perfect place for a hideout." he muttered to himself as he noticed white fangs everywhere carrying boxes placing it into a train, and alot of atlas new battle robots.

he quietly walk around looking for ruby, he then found her getting drag by 2 white fang members walking towards at the back of the train. ian then jump through the buildings and stop just a few meters above them. he then crouched low as he was about to throw some smoke bombs he heard a white fang grunt calling for someone.

and seeing the person walk out of the train ian stopped because he saw roman the one operating this hideout. ian decided to listen to what roman talking as he might get some info, roman quiet a blabber mouth after all. but to his disappointment torchwick didnt say anything about his plan to ruby as he just kick ruby while laughing.

ian decided to rescue ruby, he then saw ruby dash away from roman who was surprised by her speed but he then flip his cane and the hook flew towards ruby. as the hook was about to get her a dagger hit it missing ruby.

roman and his grunt of white fang was surprised by this they then heard a voice, "well well, this is a good place for a hideout roman im impressed." ruby hearing this voice stopped and turned around she then exclaimed happily, "ian!" ian then look at her "you always get yourself in trouble, are you sure your semblance is speed? not trouble magnet?" ian ask jokingly to ruby who only scratch her head and smiled warily.

"haah, of course you'll be here, you always do." said roman as he shook his head forgetting about ian. as ian was about to respond they heard a sound of explosions and its getting louder. ian smiled as he knows who caused this explosions. "their here" he said and ruby look at him questioningly "who?" she ask.

ian didnt respond and look towards the direction of the explosions they then saw their team members running towards them. "ruby!" "ian!" yang and pyrrha yelled towards their team leaders "glad you guys made it in right time." ian said to them "are you okay?" pyrrha ask.

before ian could respond ruby beat him to it, "we're fine, but torchwick got all sorts of weapons and robots down there. androids, mechs they're all loaded up on the train cars." she explained to them "she's right." ian nodded "ah, thats ridiculous! these tunnels are sealed. the tracks lead to a dead end." protested oobleck.

we then heard ringing sound of speakers and the voice of roman speaking to it instructing the white fangs that they are leaving. "well, looks like they are going somewhere." exclaimed yang to oobleck "we need back up." said ruby taking her phone scroll. but ian stopped her "there's no signal down here ruby. we're on our own and we are the only one who can stop them." ian said to them, "so whats the plan?" ask weiss, ian took out his storage scroll it then suddenly went large.

oobleck seeing this was surprised "what's this?" but no one answered him as ian sent an aura towards the storage scroll it went poof and what came out is a mountain jeep a wrangler black color with orange fire printed on it. "i'll explain this to you late doc, but right now we gotta stop them first. hop in guys." then all of them entered the vehicle ian then started the car and race towards the train car at fast speed.
