Chapter 41: IT SHOULD BE LAST MEETING WITH HIM!

Theodora didn't remember how the rest of her day passed because her mind couldn't get out of her morning. After leaving the forest, Gerald dropped her at Mr Collin's garden, but he rode away on his horse before she could thank him or say anything for that matter.

Wasn't he supposed to get flowers from Mr Collins?

Theodora stood there staring at his retreating form with a hurricane of emotions erupted inside her. Before she could delve deeper into that hurricane, she heard the carriage running in her way.

Bertha and the coachman came at the right time. Bertha was more than just relieved to see Theodora standing there. She asked her if she wanted to go inside Mr Collin's garden, but Theodora refused, saying she was already tired and she would begin her lessons from tomorrow.

The coachman was warned to not mention about Theodora's disappearance and her little escape with a stranger. And the poor man agreed.
