Chapter 53: Men In Black

Liam, bound to a chair and unconscious, greeted everyone. His cousin, Jade, the first to find the guy, was astounded.

"Liam! Oh my god!" Looking over his shoulder, his eyes fiery, Jade directed a shout at Riley. "What did you do to him?!" Immediately after, he approached the unconscious Liam, patting him awake. He tugged at the rope around him and started to uncoil it, repeatedly calling his name.

The rest came in as soon as they heard Jade's shout. They looked at Liam dumbfounded and then at Riley. And they could not hide the disbelief, admiration, and respect they felt for the little guy.

Who would have thought that 'weak' little Riley could handle a taller, bigger guy all on his own? It was insane! The odds were clearly against him.

To think that, a few minutes ago, they were all frantic to open the door, expecting to rescue this friend from being assaulted. But instead, he surprised them when he calmly opened the door and proved them all wrong.
