Synopsis

"What are you planning to do exactly, Dem Mari?" His voice was low and resonant.
"You-" she stammered and stepped back two steps behind, "You!" She pointed out to him in a yell, "Can you not-" Stuttering, she made her posture straight and reached out for the apron hanging on one of the wall hooks behind him.
"Can you not do this? And declare your presence then scare me shitless all the time, mister?!" Her words blabbered out as she took the apron and stepped back.
"No." Ian replied.
Nilana glared at him, her eyes squinted. "What do you mea-"
"It's fun." He snatched the apron from her hands. "Fun to witness your myriad expressions every time I appear like a phantom behind you."

The story pacing is awesome. 6 chapters in, and I am waiting for more. The author's writing is very simple yet very hooking and extravagant. She does the world building really nicely. The characters are neat, beautiful, interesting and VERY mysterious. I'm definite adding this on my library, if you didn't I recommend you that you should too!
I AM IN LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. THE AUTHOR IS BACK AND I AM SO HAPPY. (Still don't know for how long she will be updating) BUT I really hope she continues this story because I AM HOOKEDDD!!!!!!!!
From the very first page, this book invites you guys to a world of mystery, swoon-worthy romance, and more!! This is my favorite read of the month now, can not wait to read more of this. The writing is superior and so rich! It feels like as if I am reading a well traditionally written book, trust me it's better than that. The story is immaculate, I love everything about it. Nilana is my favorite character now. And Ian oh god 😭 I love him. I came here after watching Author Myura's reel on this book in her book page. And this has been my far most best decision ever. The story development is smooth and steady, not too fast paced. Everything is just perfect. I definitely recommend you guys to read it ~

i love everything about this book. the story building, the slow yet fast pace, the simple language it was written in. the story is so hooking and addictive, especially the male lead Ian 🤤 he is so delicious and hot. the biggest green flag there is, yet again he is living a double life, a wood merchant to the world and the female lead, but at night the deadly assassin. the storyline here is really fresh from the other cliche type books over the net. so neatly written, ive become a fan of this author honestly 🌎
