100% Rising through the Omniverse as a Herrscher / Chapter 4: Chapter 4

Chapter 4: Chapter 4

<<Masachika PoV>>

In the early morning, I strolled down the streets toward the park. The air was crisp, and the scene was lively yet serene. Joggers paced along the paths, and a few people were out walking their dogs.

"Peaceful place,"

I muttered to myself, taking in the tranquil atmosphere. Then, glancing at my wrist, I focused on the task at hand.

The exosuit was already equipped when I left home, its current weight set to zero—barely noticeable.

"Time to test the limits,"

I said with a determined grin.

With a few taps on the control panel, I adjusted the weight to a staggering 1000 kilograms. My finger hovered over the confirmation button for a moment before I pressed it.

The instant the new setting took effect, my knees buckled, and I almost crashed to the ground. The sheer weight bore down on me like a mountain. My bones creaked under the pressure, and my muscles screamed in protest as they began to tear.

"Ugh, this is… unbelievably heavy!"

I groaned, sweat already trickling down my forehead.

But then, as expected, my Ultra-Speed Regeneration kicked in, mending the damage almost as quickly as it occurred. The torn muscles began knitting themselves together, stronger than before. Cracks in my bones vanished as they regenerated, reinforced by my Reactive Evolution.

I gritted my teeth, straightened up, and forced my legs to move.

"Heavy or not… I can handle this!" I growled, taking one laborious step forward, then another.

Each step was a battle, sweat pouring down my body as the immense weight tested my resolve. But I kept moving, knowing that every moment under this strain would make me stronger.

Drawing on the Honkai Energy, I focused intently, channeling it to reinforce my muscles and bones. The oppressive weight began to feel more manageable—not easy, but enough to transition from a stagger to a steady jog. Sprinting was out of the question, but I could at least maintain a consistent pace.

"Alright, let's get this jog started," I muttered, determination in my voice as I set off around the park.

For the next hour, I pushed myself, each lap testing my limits. By the time I collapsed onto the ground, gasping for air, every fiber of my body screamed in protest.

"Pant… pant… Damn… is this what Sushang felt like when she trained with Einheri?" I groaned, the words spilling out between labored breaths. My body was caught in an endless cycle of destruction and regeneration—the weight breaking me down, only for my Ultra-Speed Regeneration to piece me back together.

"This is insane… But I get it. To become truly strong, you need unshakable determination and an unbreakable will."

Still lying on the ground, I caught sight of Belfast walking toward me with her ever-composed demeanor, holding a bottle that looked like an energy drink.

"Master, please drink this," she said, offering the bottle with a slight bow.

I grabbed it without hesitation and chugged it down. The moment the liquid hit my system, a surge of energy coursed through me. The bone-deep fatigue evaporated almost instantly, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. I sat up, staring at the empty bottle in disbelief.

"What kind of energy drink is this? I've never had anything like it," I asked, my tone laced with curiosity.

"It is a drink I created specifically for your workouts, Master."

"You… created this?" I repeated, glancing at the empty bottle in amazement.

"Yes," she replied with a small, graceful nod.

"I-I see. Thanks, Belfast," I said, sighing. Her competence never ceased to amaze me. Having someone as capable as her by my side was practically a cheat code for life. If we ever ended up in another world, she'd be the ultimate survival partner.

But I couldn't let myself grow too reliant on her. If I leaned on her for everything, it wouldn't be good for my personal growth. No matter how tempting it was to take the easy road, I had to face my own struggles head-on.

"You're welcome, Master," she replied with her usual calm smile.

Deciding to keep the momentum going, I got to my feet. "Alright, since I'm done with jogging, I'll start some strength training—push-ups, sit-ups, squats, maybe more. You can head back if you want, Belfast."

"I will stay and watch over you, Master," she said, her tone unwavering.

"I see…" I hesitated, then added, "Oh, right. Could you stop calling me 'Master'?"

"Why is that?" Belfast asked, tilting her head slightly. Her curiosity was evident, though her tone remained polite.

I hesitated, unsure how to explain. It just felt strange being called 'Master,' even though I grew up in a well-off family like the Suou. It had been so long since anyone referred to me that way. Plus, in my previous life, I never had a maid—hiring one would've cost too much money.

"It's just that it feels... odd. So, just call me by my name, alright?"

"As you wish, Masachika-sama," she replied with a soft smile.

"Un,"

I nodded, feeling slightly more at ease.

With that resolve, I began my set of 100 push-ups. Before starting, I withdrew the Honkai Energy reinforcing my muscles and bones—there was no point in relying on it if I wanted genuine growth.

Each movement pushed my body to its absolute limit. I could feel my muscles tearing under the strain and my bones groaning with every repetition. The pain was intense, but Ultraspeed Regeneration and Reactive Evolution kicked in immediately, swiftly repairing the damage. Torn muscles rebuilt themselves stronger, and strained bones became denser and more resilient with each cycle of destruction and recovery.

The relentless rhythm of breaking and rebuilding fueled my progress, driving me past limits I hadn't thought possible. Each push-up wasn't just an exercise; it was a step toward surpassing my current self.

After finishing my sit-ups, I moved on to squats, followed by back extensions—because why not? By the end of it all, I was completely exhausted. My entire body was drenched in sweat, making me look like I had just stepped out of a shower.

As I reached up to wipe the sweat off my face, I noticed Belfast standing nearby, her ever-composed smile in place. In her hands were a neatly folded towel and the Energy Drink that had a miraculous way of banishing exhaustion.

"Here's the Energy Drink and towel, Masachika-sama," she said, her voice as calm and elegant as ever.

"Ah, thanks,"

I replied, accepting both. Without hesitation, I opened the bottle and took a long sip. As the liquid flowed through me, a surge of revitalizing energy coursed through my body. The fatigue that had weighed me down vanished in an instant, leaving me refreshed and ready to keep going.

Once I finished the drink, I wiped the sweat off my face and neck with the towel Belfast had handed me, its soft fabric a welcome relief against my skin.

Feeling slightly refreshed, I prepared to jog back to my apartment for a cooldown. Just as I was about to take off, a sudden blue screen materialized in front of me, glowing faintly with text that seemed to hover in midair.

[you have completed the daily training mission.]

[Push Up 100/100]

[Sits Up 100/100]

[Squats 100/100]

[Run/Jog 10KM/10KM]

[would you like to receive the Reward?]

[yes] [no]

"what.. is this…? Belfast what is this?"

I looked at Belfast, confused. Why was I getting a Daily Training Mission? She had never mentioned anything about me having a system, especially considering that I was a Herrscher and, well, Belfast herself was practically a cheat—my golden finger in this world.

"Ah, I forgot to mention that, Master,"

Belfast said, her expression calm as always.

"My creator has installed a system specifically for you."

"I see. So the missions are part of the system, right?"

"Yes, exactly. You'll receive various types of missions—Urgent, Normal, and the Daily Missions you just completed."

"I see..." I said thoughtfully, my gaze turning back to the screen. I skimmed through the Daily Mission details and saw that I had completed all of them. But there was something I wanted to ask now.

"Hey, Belfast, can I go beyond what the system asks of me?"

"Yes, of course, Master," she replied without hesitation.

"Really?" I asked, a sly grin creeping onto my face. "Does that mean I'll get better rewards if I go beyond the mission requirements?"

Her gaze didn't change, but I could tell she understood my intent. I was already thinking about how I could push the system to its limits, abusing the rewards for everything I could get.

Belfast, seeing the grin on my face, quickly caught on to what I was thinking and replied,

"Yes, Masachika-sama. You can receive better rewards if you exceed the mission requirements."

"I see, I see,"

I said, rubbing my hands together with a mischievous smile.

"Good to know. Now I can really take advantage of this and get the best rewards."

I held the Daily Mission in my view, but then I remembered I had school to attend. So, I decided to put it on hold for now and tackle it after school. With that in mind, I turned to Belfast and asked,

"Is there anything else I should know?"

"Yes, Master. If you say [Status], the system will display your current status."

"I see,"

I nodded, intrigued.

"Then, [Status]."

As I spoke the command, my status appeared before me, a clear interface showing all the relevant information.

[Status]

[Name : Masachika Kuze]

[Danger Level : Armegeddon]

[Gender : Male]

[Race : Herrscher]

[Age : 16]

[Title : Herrscher of Finality]

[Skill : Honkai Energy Manipulation, Herrscher Core Bestowal, Honkai Beast Creation, Reactive Evolution, Ultraspeed Regeneration]

[Resistance : Spiritual Attack Resistance, Poison Nullification, Abnormal Ailment Nullification, Thermal Fluctiation Nullification, C̵͔͕̗̠̪͒̑͝h̷͉̤̘͔̟̐̉̔̈́ą̸͎̝̬̋̆͌͑ͅo̸͔͔̩̿̾̋̚͜ͅs̷̘͍͍̻̞͗͆̌̓ ̵̛̞͇͇͇͕̐̀͘R̴̢̛̤̪͉̯̀͘̕e̷̼̼̪̼̋͂̈́̌ͅs̸̨͎͎̤͇͗̇̓͝i̴̢͉͎͓̐̈́̽̔s̸̝̦̪͙̑̓̄͠t̷̡̘͍̓̎̿̋ͅä̸̢̢͍̖̯́̽̈́͝ń̸̢͉̬͔̩̿̈́͝c̷̫͓̤̩͕͒̌̐̇ę̵͇͍̗͂̈́́͜͝,]

I was surprised when I saw the screen—this wasn't what I expected. Instead of the usual stats like Strength, Vitality, or any other common attributes, all that appeared were my personal details: name, age, race, skills, and resistances. There was even a "Danger Level" listed as "Armageddon," which made sense considering the Herrscher of Finality's potential to destroy civilizations and even the world.

"Hey, Belfast, why don't I see any stats like Strength or Vitality or any other Stats?" I asked, confused.

"Ah, Masachika-sama," she replied calmly. "My Creator said that including those would make things too complicated."

"Eh? Really?"

I raised an eyebrow, genuinely surprised by the explanation. As I thought about it more, though, I could understand the reasoning—keeping track of all those stats would definitely be a hassle. It made sense now. Instead of overwhelming me with countless numbers, they'd simplified it by showing just my personal information, skills, and resistances.

"Yes, but I should mention that my Creator also included an Inventory feature," she added.

"An Inventory?" I repeated, intrigued. "That'll definitely be useful."

I could already see the potential for carrying all kinds of useful items, but there was one more question on my mind.

"Belfast, is there a limit to the Inventory?" I asked.

"Oh, it's infinite, Masachika-sama," she replied.

I blinked at the answer. Infinite? Now I was certain I could carry as much as I wanted without worrying about running out of space. That would certainly make life a lot easier.

I glanced at my Status, carefully scanning through the list of Skills and Resistances. My eyes immediately locked onto something unusual under the Resistance section: C̵͔͕̗̠̪͒̑͝h̷͉̤̘͔̟̐̉̔̈́ą̸͎̝̬̋̆͌͑ͅo̸͔͔̩̿̾̋̚͜ͅs̷̘͍͍̻̞͗͆̌̓ ̵̛̞͇͇͇͕̐̀͘R̴̢̛̤̪͉̯̀͘̕e̷̼̼̪̼̋͂̈́̌ͅs̸̨͎͎̤͇͗̇̓͝i̴̢͉͎͓̐̈́̽̔s̸̝̦̪͙̑̓̄͠t̷̡̘͍̓̎̿̋ͅä̸̢̢͍̖̯́̽̈́͝ń̸̢͉̬͔̩̿̈́͝c̷̫͓̤̩͕͒̌̐̇ę̵͇͍̗͂̈́́͜͝.

What was that? And more importantly, how did I acquired it? Its very appearance—glitching and distorting, as if it were breaking the System itself—felt ominous. It didn't just seem powerful; it felt fundamentally alien, a force capable of warping the very foundations of the System.

The weight of its presence pressed heavily on my thoughts, stirring an unshakable sense of unease. This wasn't just any ordinary resistance—it felt ominous, volatile, and tied to forces far beyond my understanding. Something about it whispered of danger, the kind that could warp reality itself if left unchecked.

Still, I couldn't bring myself to dwell on the fear for long. The fact that I possessed such a powerful resistance was, in itself, remarkable. Dangerous or not, it was now a part of me, a strength I could rely on. If anything, it only added to my potential to grow even stronger.

"Well, I suppose that's everything about the System, then," I said, glancing at my Status once more.

"Yes, Masachika-sama. That should be all," Belfast confirmed.

"Hm, then you can head home now. I want to get in a few more runs," I told her.

"As you wish, Masachika-sama,"

she responded, bowing politely before vanishing without a trace. The people in the park didn't seem to notice, no doubt because Belfast had altered their perception.

With that, I began my run toward my apartment, getting ready for school. Yuki and Ayano were probably already done showering and eating breakfast.

When I arrived home, I found Yuki and Ayano in their school uniforms, each holding their bags and preparing to put on their shoes.

"Ah, Brother, welcome back."

"Yeah, I'm back. Are you two heading to school already?"

"Yes, we were just about to leave."

Yuki said, slipping on her shoes as Ayano was already finished.

"I see. Well, stay safe, alright? And remember, don't tell anyone—even your family—about the fact that you're both Herrscher now."

I gave them a stern reminder. If anyone found out, it could lead to serious problems, especially with the government.

Yuki looked at me with a smirk.

"I know, I know. Like I'd go around telling people that I'm not even human anymore."

"I trust you, but I'm just making sure. And you too, Ayano."

"Yes, Masachika-sama."

Yuki pouted. "Moo, can't you trust your sister just a little? Whatever, I'll be going now. Bye, Brother!"

"Yeah, take care, both of you."

As they left, I couldn't help but feel a little relieved. At least they seemed to understand the importance of keeping things quiet.

I decided to take a shower first, feeling sticky from the sweat that had built up. Before stepping into the bathroom, I adjusted the weight of my Exosuit back to zero, ensuring there would be no residual strain after removing it. The moment the Exosuit came off, I felt an incredible lightness, as though I could float.

"Ahh, I feel so light right now, I could fly," I said with a delighted chuckle before heading into the shower.

A few minutes later, I stepped out, drying off. As I glanced at my reflection in the mirror, I couldn't help but notice the massive changes in my physique. What used to be a lack of muscle had transformed into a well-built frame. Even more noticeable was the change below, which had undergone a dramatic alteration. I paused for a moment, taking it all in.

Afterward, I re-donned the Exosuit, setting it back to 1000 kg. Strangely, the Exosuit became nearly invisible to the naked eye, blending seamlessly with my body. Wrapped in a towel, I left the bathroom and went to my room to change into my uniform. The Exosuit remained hidden under my clothes, as usual. Within minutes, I was fully dressed.

I made my way to the living room and into the kitchen, where Belfast had already prepared breakfast.

"Masachika-sama, welcome back. I apologize for not greeting you earlier," she said, bowing slightly.

"No, no, it's fine," I replied.

She smiled and gestured toward the table. "Please, take a seat. I've finished preparing your breakfast."

I noticed there wasn't a portion for her. "Belfast, aren't you going to eat?"

She smiled gently. "You don't need to worry about me, Masachika-sama. My body has been designed to not require daily needs."

"I see... but you can eat, right?" I asked, a little concerned.

"Yes, I can," she confirmed.

"Then next time, I hope you'll prepare a portion for yourself, Belfast, and eat with me."

I said because it just doesn't feel right for me to eat alone and let Belfast stand there not eating. I know that she is my maid but I'm not a cruel person to just let my Maid not eat or anything, even if she doesn't need to eat. And I also know that Maid wasn't suppose to dine with their Master, but still it's better if she eat with me, maid or not.

"if that is your wish Masachika-sama, then I will obey it."

Belfast smiled warmly, and I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was. Her smile caught me off guard, and for a moment, I found myself a little smitten. I quickly cleared my throat and sat down, realizing that if I didn't hurry, I'd be late for school.

After finishing breakfast, I stood up, preparing to grab my bag. However, Belfast was already holding it out to me.

"Here is your bag, Masachika-sama. All the books for today's lessons are inside," she said.

"Ah, thanks, Belfast,"

I replied, grateful that I didn't need to worry about being scolded by Alya for forgetting anything.

I walked over to the front door, slipped on my shoes, and turned to Belfast.

"Then I'll be heading out now, Belfast."

"Take care out there, Masachika-sama," she replied with a smile.

With that, I stepped outside and made my way toward school. As I walked down the street, I suddenly collided with someone, and due to the weight of my Exosuit, she stumbled backward and fell onto her back.

"Ow!"

"Ah, sorry! Are you okay?" I quickly reached out my hand to help her up. As she took my hand, I finally got a good look at her—she was a beautiful young girl with long, flowing blonde hair and striking green eyes. Her hair cascaded down her back with split bangs over her forehead, a single strand sticking out from the top and sloping backward.

"I-I'm fine, thank you," she stammered, her cheeks flushed in embarrassment as she stood up.

"I see. I'm glad to hear that."

Just then, I heard a voice from behind her.

"Asia, are you okay?"

I froze, my eyes widening as I turned to see who was speaking. The woman approaching was tall, with light-brown hair and piercing blue irises that had a subtle pink tint near the bottom, becoming almost black at the top. Her gaze felt empty, as though her eyes held no life, and there was a small mole beneath her left eye.

'W-w-why is Aponia here?!'

I screamed internally, my mind suddenly connecting the dots.

'Wait, if Aponia is here, then don't tell me the other Flame Chasers are here too? And that means... Mobius is here as well?!'

My thoughts immediately turned to the snake-like woman who loved experimenting on people—without their consent. A chill ran down my spine.

'I'm screwed, if she found out about me,right?'

I quickly tried to think of a more positive angle.

'But wait, maybe this is a blessing in disguise.'

After all, Mobius is a genius in anatomy, biology, and similar fields. If I could convince her to tutor me on those subjects, it could work in my favor. Of course, the catch would be that she'd want to experiment on me in return. But that seemed like a fair trade, right? Right?

As I was lost in thought, Aponia, noticing me, froze in place as well, her gaze fixed on me with those empty, unfocused eyes. She didn't say anything, lost in her own thoughts, until she suddenly realized she had been staring for far too long.

"Th-thank you, sir, for helping Asia," Aponia said, her voice shaky, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Ah, no worries," I replied, trying to shake off the lingering surprise. "Umm, and you two are? I'm Masachika Kuze, by the way. You can call me Masachika or Kuze, whatever you prefer."

"I'm Aponia, and this girl is…"

"I'm Asia Argento. Nice to meet you, Masachika-san," Asia said politely.

"Nice to meet you both," I nodded. "So, are you two heading somewhere?"

I hesitated, unsure of how to phrase it without coming across as too forward. I could tell that Aponia was following Asia, probably due to her being in her early twenties, and her protective nature over Asia was evident.

"Ah, we're on our way to a town called Kuoh," Aponia replied.

"Hm, I see,"

I said, mentally confirming that the events of High School DxD had already begun. I needed to pick up the pace; I didn't want the supernatural elements to spill over into this place.

"Well, I'd better get going," I said, then added, "But I'll give you two a word of advice."

Aponia's emotionless eyes flickered as she asked,

"And what advice would that be, Kuze-kun?"

I lowered my voice slightly.

"I'd suggest you avoid Kuoh Town for now. It's dangerous."

I said this because both Devils and Fallen Angels were openly residing there, with no one stepping in to stop them. The Devils in charge weren't taking action, too fearful that any confrontation would escalate into a full-blown war with the other factions.

Kuoh was supposed to be Devil territory, but for the Devil governing the town to do nothing about the presence of Fallen Angels, the Church, and other factions? It was a sign of terrible mismanagement. Even I could see that. The other factions needed a pass from the one governing the town, and if they didn't have one, they shouldn't be allowed to enter at all.

"Why is that, Masachika-san?"

Asia asked, clearly curious about my warning. She probably already had some knowledge of the supernatural world, considering she carried a Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing, and had even healed that bastard.

The thought of that bastard instantly made my blood boil. The urge to hunt him down and make him suffer grew stronger. He enjoyed breaking people, so why not return the favor? Slowly. Piece by piece. I'd break him, rebuild him, and then break him again, savoring every moment.

I then calm myself because it is not the time yet, when the times comes that is when I

"Just because," I replied, my voice colder than I intended. "Anyway, I'm off. Take my advice to heart. Goodbye, you two."

I gave them a quick wave before turning away, heading toward school, my thoughts still simmering.

=======================

<<Aponia PoV>>

Throughout my life, I've always been able to see the fates of those in front of me—not their fortunes or misfortunes, but their inevitable deaths, and the ways they meet their end. It's the same with everyone around me; no one escapes their fate.

As I grew older, more people came into my life, but the closer they got, the clearer their inevitable demise became. I became sickened by watching those I cared about die before my eyes, knowing there was nothing I could do to change it.

And years passes by as my heart started to closed itself trying to not let anyone get inside it. That is until this girl that is beside Asia came to. this girl is very naïve, very pure, and a very kind girl that its making me fond of her, and even when I always being cold to her she will always come to me and try to cheer me up.

I already know what her date lies a head, but the thought of this was making me want to try and change it even though I have tried it many times but to no avail.

When I heard that she had been exiled by the Church and relocated to the Church in Kuoh Town, I was filled with disgust. The corrupt priests had called her a Saintess, only to turn their backs on her, excommunicate her, and label her a witch—simply because she had helped others out of kindness. The hypocrisy and cruelty of it all sickened me.

With that in mind, I made the decision to sever my ties with the Church and accompany Asia to Kuoh Town. I would protect her from the dangers that were undoubtedly coming for her.

That was when we ran into the boy named Masachika Kuze, and to my surprise, Asia's fate became unclear—more so, I could no longer see it at all. Even more unsettling, I couldn't see the boy's fate either.

"Masachika Kuze..."

I murmured his name softly, for he was the first person whose fate I couldn't see.

"Umm, Aponia-san, is something wrong?"

Asia's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, pulling me back to reality.

"Nothing, Asia. Just thinking about something,"

I replied, my mind still preoccupied with the mysterious boy.

"I see. Then, I want to ask—should we take Masachika-san's advice?"

Asia asked, her voice laced with concern. I recalled that her fate had once pointed toward her demise in a place called Kuoh Town. With that in mind, I resolved to take Masachika's advice seriously—if I wanted to ensure Asia's survival.

"Yes, maybe we should follow his advice and stay here for now," I said, deciding that caution was best.

"Alright, Aponia-san," Asia agreed with a smile so bright that it warmed my heart.

We decided to find a place to stay for the time being, and I hoped that, in time, our paths would cross with Masachika once more.

<<Masachika PoV>>

After a few minutes of walking, I finally arrived at school. Checking my phone, I saw there was still some time before class started, so I decided to take it easy. The lingering strain from my morning workout had already subsided, leaving me feeling lighter and more at ease.

Still, I couldn't help but strategize my next steps toward becoming stronger. My body had grown significantly, surpassing the peak limits of an athletic human. However, raw strength alone wasn't enough—I needed to refine it further by integrating my newfound power with martial arts.

I had started learning martial arts back in school, developing a solid foundation. Later, my time in the military honed those skills even further, pushing me to new heights. It was clear that my next focus should be combining this knowledge with my enhanced physical abilities to maximize my potential.

'I guess I should ask Belfast about this later,'

I thought as I approached the classroom. Opening the door, I saw a few of my classmates already inside.

"Oh, Masachika! Osu!"

"Morning, Masachika!"

Takeshi and Hikaru greeted me enthusiastically as soon as they saw me.

"Morning, Takeshi, Hikaru,"

I replied with a small smile.

"You're already back on your feet, huh, Masachika?" Takeshi said with a grin.

"Are you sure it's okay for you to be up and about?" Hikaru asked, concern evident in his tone.

"Yeah, I'm fine. The doctor said there's nothing abnormal about me anymore and gave me the green light to leave the hospital."

"I see. But seriously, you had us worried. Even Princess Alisa-san was concerned about you,"

Takeshi added with a smirk.

"Yeah, Princess Alisa even came by just to check on you," Hikaru teased.

"Haha… right…" I laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of my neck.

"So, what happened to you yesterday? What caused you to collapse like that?" Hikaru asked curiously, leaning forward slightly.

I hesitated for a moment. I couldn't exactly tell them it was because of Honkai Energy or the fact that I had become a Herrscher. That wasn't something they needed to know.

"I don't really know," I said, trying to sound casual. "Even the doctor couldn't figure out what I was afflicted with."

"Hmm, I see," Hikaru replied, nodding slightly.

"Oh, right, changing the subject!" Takeshi suddenly said, clearly trying to lighten the mood. "Masachika, have you heard? Our class is getting a transfer student!"

"Hm? Oh, really? That's the first I'm hearing about it,"

I replied, genuinely surprised. This wasn't mentioned in the light novel or the anime. It was clear things had already veered off the original storyline.

"So, how many are we getting?" I asked.

"Hmm… from what I've heard, the school is getting five transfer students," Takeshi said.

"Five? That's a lot," I replied, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah. But I gotta wonder, why are they transferring now, all of a sudden?" Hikaru asked, sounding genuinely curious.

"Who cares about that, Hikaru? What we boys really hope is that the transfer students are pretty girls," Takeshi said, laughing boisterously.

Hikaru, clearly uninterested, just shook his head, and I couldn't help but agree silently. Before the conversation could go any further, the door opened, and everyone turned to see Alisa stepping into the room.

"Oh, Alya. Morning," I greeted her with a small smile.

"Oh, Kuze-kun, you're already here," she replied, a hint of surprise in her voice.

"Of course I'm already here. What, did you think I wouldn't be?" I teased.

"Hmph! Why should I care whether you're here or not?"

she huffed, turning her head to the side with a pout.

I couldn't help but find her reaction endearing, though I kept that thought to myself. Alya then moved to her seat, and not long after, the bell rang, signaling the start of the lesson. The students quickly settled into their seats, waiting for the teacher to arrive.

Moments later, the door opened, and our homeroom teacher walked in. The class duty student stood up and called out,

"Stand up!"

We all stood in unison.

"Bow!"

We bowed respectfully and greeted the teacher.

"Good morning, Sensei."

"Good morning. Sit down," the teacher responded. Once we were seated, the teacher continued, "We've got a transfer student joining us today."

"Whoa!"

The class buzzed with excitement at the news. Takeshi immediately raised his hand, unable to contain his curiosity.

"Sensei! Are the transfer students girls?"

The boys in the class eagerly leaned forward, clearly sharing Takeshi's anticipation. Meanwhile, Alya rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath, likely annoyed at their enthusiasm.

The teacher chuckled, holding up a hand to quiet the class.

"Yes, that's right. The transfer students joining us are girls," the teacher announced.

"Oh yeah!"

The boys erupted in excitement, their enthusiasm palpable. Meanwhile, the girls in the class shot them looks of disdain, clearly unimpressed by their behavior.

Even I felt a small twinge of curiosity, though I wasn't as vocal as the others. That didn't stop Alya, sitting beside me, from giving me a sharp side-eye.

"Ziiiii"

"What?" I asked, noticing her gaze locked onto me with an intensity that felt almost accusatory.

"Hmph. Nothing," she huffed, turning her head to the side with a flick of her hair.

Once again, I found her reaction inexplicably adorable, though I wisely chose to keep that observation to myself.

The teacher clapped his hands, immediately drawing the attention of the class.

"Alright, settle down, everyone."

The room quieted as the students shifted their focus back to the front. The teacher glanced at the door beside him and called out,

"Alright, you can come in now."

With that, three transfer students entered the classroom, all eyes turning toward them with eager anticipation.

The door opened, revealing a stunning young girl with long, dark purple hair cascading down her back and striking indigo eyes that seemed to captivate everyone in the room. The moment I saw her, I recognized her immediately—she was from the same world as Aponia.

The entire class fell into a stunned silence as they took in her beauty. There was something about her aura—a calm yet commanding presence that made it impossible to look away.

She walked gracefully to the front of the class and picked up a piece of chalk, writing her name on the board with elegant strokes. Turning back to face us, she introduced herself in a soft yet confident voice that resonated throughout the room.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Mei Raiden. Pleased to meet you."

The class erupted into excited whispers and exclamations, breaking the silence.

"Ooohhh!!"

Her appearance and introduction had clearly left an impression on everyone. The teacher clapped his hands sharply, commanding the room's attention.

"Quiet down, all of you!" he said firmly, and the students quickly hushed, their excitement simmering into silence.

Once the classroom settled, the teacher turned to Mei with a nod and spoke.

"Raiden-san, your seat is next to Kuze-kun. Please take your place."

His tone was calm but authoritative, guiding Mei toward her assigned seat without further delay. When Mei Arrived at her seat she then look to her left side and greeted me.

"Hello," Mei greeted with a warm smile.

"Hello, I'm Masachika Kuze. Nice to meet you, Raiden-san," he replied politely.

"Hehe, nice to meet you too, Kuze-kun," Mei said, her tone cheerful and friendly.

As Masachika conversed with Mei, he couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth from her presence. However, that warmth was quickly tempered by a pressing sensation—an intense gaze burning into him from his side.

Turning his head slightly, Masachika glanced toward Alisa, who sat nearby.

"Alya, is there something wrong?"

he asked, his tone genuinely curious.

"Nothing,"

Alisa huffed, crossing her arms and turning her head sharply to the side.

She muttered something under her breath, her voice barely audible, leaving Masachika puzzled yet oddly amused by her reaction.

["Cheater, you already have me, have you not?"]

Alisa muttered in Russian, her voice low but laced with irritation.

Hearing her words, my face turned crimson with embarrassment.

'What do you mean I have you?! We haven't even gone out on a date yet!'

he screamed internally, struggling to keep his composure. Before I could respond—or let my flustered state worsen—the teacher clapped his hands, signaling the start of the lesson.

"Alright, everyone, let's begin,"

the teacher announced, drawing everyone's attention and mercifully ending the moment.
