Ezra didn't have time to think about all the messages; the only important one was the fact that he was able to gain 1000 energy from that man.

If he found more of the energy, it could allow him to grow strong fast.

"System, where can I get my hands on that energy?" Ezra asked.

[Five figures behind you have been tainted with that energy]

"Oh, it must be those guys." Ezra turned around and walked towards the group that had faced off against the man.

They all looked at him in shock; they didn't expect a kid to be the one to save them.

Ezra didn't mind. He walked to them and touched each and every one of them, absorbing the energy but only making about 100 shadow energy.
