Chapter 189: Shadow Demon

[Shadow Demon 40 percent activated]

A strange and very dark aura began seeping out of Ezra. The true demon raised his brow when he felt this energy; it felt very interesting.

"I knew I sensed true darkness here, but this darkness is a bit tainted. It is rising not for itself, but for others. Pathetic," the demon said and walked towards Ezra. He picked up Ezra and looked into Ezra's eyes.

But there were no eyes there, just a heavy red glow. Ezra's body then turned all black, and wings sprouted from his back.

Ezra looked up at the demon. He opened his mouth like he was about to say something, but shadowy hands came out of his mouth and grabbed the true demon by the neck.

The true demon roared in anger, punched Ezra in the gut, and sent him flying. Ezra smashed against a wall but didn't go down for even a second; he charged at the true demon again.
