Chapter 89: Partnership

Alen returned to normal. He looked at Ezra with eyes that said, "What the hell happened?"

Ezra didn't reply. He walked to Alen and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Your family has a lot to explain to you, Alen. Though I don't recommend you go ask them, that would be stupid.

The thing in you was out of you, that's all the information I got from it. It didn't stay long at all," Ezra explained.

Alen looked puzzled for a bit. Ezra knew that questions would still follow, so he left.

"I'll be heading out now. There's a lot I have to do," Ezra said and walked out of the combat room.

He headed down the hallway on his way back to the club. He saw Elena and Sofia walking towards him.

"Ezra Blackwood," Sofia called out to him.

Ezra stopped in front of them. "To what do I owe this?" he asked.

"It is about your proposal," Sofia spoke.

"Honestly, I see it as bullshit," Elena spoke up.
