Chapter 63: Dark lycan

Daniel's arms were around me when I awoke, and I was in my own bed. As I slipped from his embrace, a smile played across my lips. I hurried to the nursery, only to see Katherine being rocked by Eric.

Eric turned to face me and exclaimed, "Your daughter is so adorable!"

I forced a grin as I muttered, "Thanks," knowing that the last time he was near the twins, he was about to kill them. I moved in her direction, removing Brooke from the cot. She stroked my engagement ring while giggling. It's "pretty, isn't it?"
