Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Dealing with the Darkness
Alfred POV
I never liked human beings, always with their wars, prejudice, we were a filthy race, nothing could change that, my worldview only intensified when World War III started.
Because of the leaders of the countries, they decided to use Nuclear Weapons, causing the whole world to be devastated, but it also made humanity show its true side.
Children killing and being killed by their parents, brothers killing brothers, all the vile things that human beings did, intensified and became a norm after this cataclysm.
I've seen the downside of humanity once when my parents died and I was taken care of by my aunt, a drug addict who sold me to pay off her debts.
Working since I was little on the plantations, the guards made me and other kids fight each other while betting money, I had some losses, but after that, I only started to win.
The Cartel leader saw my potential and took me under his wing, he trained me to be his Number One henchman, the one who would kill everyone and everything without asking.
I saw this obviously as an opportunity, I started to grow little by little through the Cartel hierarchy, commanding a small part of the territory in a city they had recently expanded, dealing with a rival gang.
I showed everyone my leadership talent, that's when I got the green light from my boss to expand our territory, so I dealt with various criminal groups in the city, bringing half of the city under our control.
When the cataclysm happened, I survived quite a long time, I had a certain reputation for my unorthodox methods when it comes to dealing with the enemy.
Everyone who crossed my path would be crucified like Jesus Christ, but their heads and their hearts would be lacking, for their heads would be nailed to a stake with their hearts in their mouths.
Now I am in this endless darkness, as I was killed by a group that wanted revenge... I may have destroyed their village with some bombs and freed all their prisoners, creating pandemonium in their village of survivors.
''Well well, it seems you've finally woken up, young soul'' Said a dark and at the same time melodic voice, I looked to the side and saw a woman in secretary clothes, her eyes were red as flame, her face was simply beautiful, her wings and horns made me understand that she was a possible demon.
''You're wrong, young soul, I'm not a demon, I am the Darkness Goddes, at least one of them'' apparently she was a goddess and could read minds.... wonderful.
''What will happen to me? will I go to hell to grieve for all the things I've done?'' I asked straight to the point, if I'm going to hell I want this to be quick, I'm not in the mood to hear speeches or lectures about how I was a sinful soul and I must pay for the innocent lives I took.
''Not really, it depends a lot on you, I want to make you a proposal'' Spoke the Goddess with a fierce gleam in her eyes, that will be interesting, I want to know what kind of proposal that would be.
Seeing that I'm interested she starts talking: ''I want to send you to a world that would be considered by you from Earth as 'Fantasy World', you have the mission to destroy the heroes of that world while bringing chaos to them, we Gods decided that that world had no more salvation, but the Gods of Light in all their 'wisdom' decided to rebel and send their Heroes to that world, we deal with the Gods of Light, but we can't deal with the Heroes because even if that world has no more salvation, we sometimes need to avoid conflict with the Mortal World'' said the Darkness Goddes with a tired sigh at the end, I could see in her eyes that she didn't like it at all.
''Hmmm, I can take it, but... I need more information about this world.'' I said after thinking for a moment, I could see that the Goddess wasn't reading my mind or she was good at acting because she was anxious to know my answer.
Wordlessly, she snaps her fingers and I receive crucial information about the World....my anger was beyond imagining, if the Sin of Wrath saw me, it would give me his title and even slap me on the back in pride.
Humans existed in this world, but that wasn't what angered me, it was what they did, they were scattered in many nations, but the most famous was the Zateron Empire, an Empire that conquered many non-human peoples.
They enslaved all non-human species on the continent that called itself Eumuloth, the information about how the enslaved races were treated made me want to vomit, even the ancient slavers of Earth would be sickened if they saw what I saw.
But they didn't just enslave the Non-Human races, it seemed, they are also wanting to enslave the Nordic Kingdoms, as they were considered ''barbarian'' and had a different culture from the Southern states, as well as allowing the Non-Human races living among them, they can be considered the Vikings of this world.
From the looks of it, even their Jarls and Kings married with people of other species, the ''humans'' of the Nordic Kingdoms had more Non-Human blood in their veins, than actual human blood, because of that than the Empire Zateron and the southern kingdoms want to enslave these peoples, as in addition to having a different religion and culture, they married ''inferior'' species.
And I can't believe the Gods of Light sent Heroes to defend such people, they should suffer the worst possible way! ALL OF THEM, NOT EVEN THE CHILDREN DESERVE TO LIVE.
''I understand your hatred, young soul, that's why I made you this proposal, I want you to make the people of Zateron and the Southern Kingdoms suffer, your hatred for humans was the main factor that made me bring you here and you present as a candidate,'' Said the Goddess, snapping me out of my reverie, when I looked at her again, I saw nothing but cold, lifeless eyes, but I could see streaks of anger in her eyes.
''I accept, I want to make these humans suffer! but I'll need a power base if I want to deal with them'' I said without thinking, making those filthy humans suffer would be my only goal, I'll be a true demon to them, they'd feel in the flesh for all the bad things they did they did with the other species.
''I will give you the power to control dark magic, not only that, but it can also make monsters become your minions, your 'Dominate' magic will control the mind of any monster, but know that some can resist if are extremely powerful'' That would definitely be a welcome help, I can already think of ways to use Dark Magic, I could blend in with the dark, I could use various forms, I just needed creativity.
I nod, the Goddess smiled at me and was about to snap her fingers when she said, ''I hope you find love in this world, young soul, make humans pay, but don't forget the pleasure of having a family.'' This got me thinking seriously, maybe she's right, I can have a family, I nod once again, then hear a snap of my fingers as my vision has gone all black.
3rd POV
When Alfred disappeared from the void he was in, the Eumuloth Continent was in chaos, the day of Judgment had arrived, the skies turned red as blood rained, this was the announcement, that the person who would make everyone suffer had finally appeared.
The citizens of the Zateron Empire and the Southern Kingdoms were praying as they asked their Gods for mercy, the Heroes had already arrived for a few months, so they already knew that a Holy War would break out.
While all this was happening, our protagonist finally opens his eyes, revealing large rubies, his hair was white to his shoulders, his body was toned, with several scars, he was wearing only a pair of pants, showing his 6 pack to the world.
''Apparently, I'm still human'' Alfred spoke after standing up and looking at his body, he touched everywhere to see if he was of another race, he laughed for still being the same race he hated, but her laugh soon began to turn into a crazy laugh.
''PREPARE YOURSELF HEROES, BECAUSE I WILL MAKE YOU SEE ALL HUMANITY BEING DESTROYED WHILE YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING'' Alfred was screaming at the top of his lungs, even though there was no one there.
''I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THIS SINFUL RACE IS EXTERMINATED...I WILL DESTROY THE HUMAN BEINGS...IN ALL JUSTICE!'' Alfred shouted once more with his sinister and mad laugh.
As if the world were witness, lightning began to appear in the sky while rain began to fall.
Meanwhile, the Gods who looked at everything had a smile, the happiest one was a person with the appearance of a red devil with draconic wings, black eyes like emptiness, and a white beard.
'Bring chaos to this world and make the humans pay... my son' Thought God as he had a sinister smile on his face.
But then they looked at the Goddess who spoke to Alfred, they all had an impassive look as they looked at her, as they saw that she threw the lightning and started to rain after he finished his speech.
''What's it? I thought I needed a touch more.. electrifying'' Spoke the Goddess with a beautiful smile on his face, the Gods could only sigh.
