The Draconic Elders were treated to a simulation similar to what Naya had endured and also experienced consecutive deaths but their simulations were made to deliberately come off as torture. Even more so than hers.

Naya had Hal's backing and through him, she was on track to secure her seat and secure her reign over the Dragon Clan.

Hal had revealed to her the error of her thinking in the sense that she had accepted that her time as Queen of the Dragon Clan was limited to eventually surrendering the throne to a member of the main family line when the said member was ready to rule.
