With a low-grade Golden Knight leading the party of four that had three peak Silver Knights, Lieutenant Colonel Ruby was confident that no assassin would be able to take them by surprise.

Even if a low-grade Golden Knight assassin was to attack them, she had made sure that she wouldn't be taken by surprise as she had taken an item with her.

As the party ventured deeper inside the forest, no sound except for the other groups searching could be found. They had first gone to where Lyle's 13 aides had died, and even though soldiers had already been stationed there and their bodies had been covered, they made sure to look around in hopes of finding a clue that could help them.
