Chapter 33: Deployment: IV & V

"Sacre bleu, I can't believe it!" Toussaint almost snarled, going outside her office and slamming the door behind her. She looked forward, seeing her partner opening the door to her office, holding a colorful can in her hand.

Their eyes met and Chyler was able to see Aria's eyebrow sliding higher. She approached almost immediately, catching Callaghan's wrist and pulling her inside the room quite violently and unexpectedly.

"Yo, Peugeot, hold your fucking horses, maybe ask me out first, huh? Aren't Frenchies supposedly the best flirters alive?"

"What the hell are you on about again, Callaghan?" Chyler slammed that door as well and Aria yanked her arm from her hand, sitting on the edge of the desk and sipping from the can. One of her feet stayed on the floor, whereas the second was hanging and moving like a pendulum.
