Chapter 77: Magic Studies

After about half an hour or so, everybody was in their beds. I had been observing my sister's movements from the other side of the second floor, and after several rolls, Becky finally fell into a deep slumber.

Everything was still and calm.

All except for my own heart and mind.

I could hear the distant music from the other stages playing at the distance, and I couldn't get a single wink from over thinking.

So many things that were totally unexpected had just happened on the very first day of Coachella, that now I am beginning to convince myself the next day was probably going to be more explosive.

To top it all off, I couldn't get rid of all the hypocrisies I had spewed when I talked to Becky regarding her relationship with Zeke.

Who was I to tell her that?

I don't deserve to say things that I myself didn't apply to my own relationship.

"So much for wanting to help." I murmured softly.
