Chapter 176: Crash

I could feel the change in the atmosphere as I channeled the magic that came from the earth. The soles of my feet were grounded and through them, ancient energy flowed up into me as I commanded my surroundings as I want them to be.

Dark clouds that slowly swirled from a minute ago had now turned into a raging sea of rolling thunder clouds. Lightning flashed and thunder roared in between seconds, and people were starting to become antsy – fear creeping into their minds and hearts.

Becky and Suzy continued to gush information that we carefully fabricated, and their words spread like wildfire. From one mouth into another, I could hear the doubt and fear rise in the air. 

"These types of things always happen with Missy Cath's performances," somebody murmured.

"Did you hear a speculation that she was cursed?" a girl's voice whispered.

"Someone said it was karma for the aborted baby," another said in the sea of people.
