Chapter 47: He Actually Cares For You

"Shao Ming, how long would it take to complete the preparation?" Changmin asked. His grip on the report tightened as he massaged his temple.

"The healers are trying their best, crown prince. But most of the experiments have failed. It would take longer. For now ...the best outcome had been one that would erase everything. Including how she met you." Shao Ming voiced the last part in a much lowered tone. He was ashamed of himself for not being able to achieve the task lord had assigned him for the first time ever. 

"Bring it over then."

"Lord but the effect of the potion is irreversible!"

Changmin looked up, staring dead into his eyes, as he closed the report back in. 

"I understand." 

Shao Ming was about to turn back, when Changmin interrupted again,
