Chapter 8: Hambie
As, Su-hyeok and Cheong-san entered the room the others had fled into thinking about how Ji-hoon distracted the zombies, Nam-ra, asked them her voice filled with panic and concern. "Ji-hoon! Where is he?" Nam-ra's voice trembled. "Yes, he was with you two wasn't he" On-jo added concerned about Ji-hoon whom she always looked up to like her big brother.
Su-heok and Cheong-san, now safely on the landing above, exchanged whispered words. "He's down there with those things," Su-heok muttered, his face pale with dread. Cheong-san nodded grimly, unable to tear his gaze away from the scene below.
Just as they were about to shout back to the others and explain the situation, they heard it—Ji-hoon's bone-chilling screams of terror. The sound sent shivers down their spines, and they exchanged another horrified look, knowing that their worst fears were coming true. They were too late to save their friend, and they could only imagine the gruesome fate that had befallen him.

As, I opened my eyes I saw that I was really bloody with four or five bite marks which was beginning to heal. I still remembered the pain I felt vividly, I shivered as I recalled the experience.
But, I knew that I had no time to waste, I need to see if Ha-ri is ok or not and escort her to the others. As, I began searching for her I suddenly heard the intercom chiming up as Mrs. Park started speaking.
After what felt like hours since it was noon by the time I found her and I had begun searching for them at afternoon.
"Ha-ri!!" I exclaimed.
As soon she turned around and saw who it was, she ran up to me and hugged me tightly as she broke down.
"There there, It's ok your safe now" I started soothing her.
After she calmed down and looked at me closely she saw one bite mark which hadn't healed as fast as the others had. "You've been bitten" she exclaimed.
"Captain move he's infected "Min-jae told her.
"relax, It's been over 5 hours since I've been bitten" "So, your immune!?" Ha-ri asked me.
"No, not fully atleast. I've become a Hambie" I replied.
"Hambie?" Min-jae asked confused.
"Just some thing I made up but it's means Half-human Half-zombie " I replied.
"Now, let's go quickly" "Go where? " "A place you can get some rest" I said.
As, we walked discreetly avoiding the zombies and reached right below the window to the room the others were in, I told both of them to hold onto me tightly. Making sure they wouldn't fall I jumped up to the window they had left open and right into the room.
