Chapter 135: King Samara Makes His Move

Inside his throne room, King Samara paced back and forth. A few days ago, he heard about the new Rougenfort Kingdom located in the gloomy plains.

He wasn't in the mood to engage in debauchery today because he recently learned about the terrifying growth rate of Rougenfort Kingdom.

King Samara is panicking because he still hasn't heard any reply from the Kairuku Kingdom whether they would support the Samara Kingdom's plan to invade the Rougenfort Kingdom or not.

Fortunately for him, his most trusted aide suddenly came rushing into the room bearing urgent news.

"My King! Good news! The Kairuku Kingdom gave us a response! An army of 10,000 men along with three Swordmasters has been deployed and is currently on the way towards the newly built fort!"

"However, the Kairuku army could only assist us in taking down the fort due to the Terravalleans watching the direct passage to the gloomy plains."

King Samara slammed the table in excitement.

"Finally! With our 25,000 men along with the 10,000 men from the Kairuku Kingdom, we will easily storm their fort!"

"Order the hidden strike team to proceed with the plan!"

Seeing his king in a good mood, the aide happily sprinted out of the room to carry out the king's orders.

After his aide left, King Samara looked in the direction of Rougenfort Kingdom and then smirked.

"Heh! I even took down the established Lockridge Kingdom, what makes you think that you have the right to build a fort right next to my territory?"

Meanwhile, in the Rougenfort Kingdom, Blanc and Doran were together inside the throne room where Blanc was excitedly waiting for Doran to open a wooden sword box.

"Are you ready, your majesty? Take a look at my latest masterpiece!" Doran enthusiastically opened the sword box and the sword within was fully revealed.

It was a longsword with aquamarine-colored edges while the body was made with a mix of mithril and adamantite.

Truly a lethal weapon with a sharpness that can slice through regular iron as if it were a hot knife slicing through butter and toughness that can withstand repeated blows from even greatswords with ease.

In addition to this, the sword was similar to Helena's Salamandr in which it released a heavy stream of water with each swing.

Due to this heavy stream of water, not only was the sharpness of his attacks enhanced, but it also made his attacks heavier as if he was using a greatsword.

A sword with the weight, quickness, and range of a longsword but with attacks as heavy as a greatsword.

A fitting sword for a king!

Blanc nodded repeatedly in a satisfied manner while checking out his new sword. Meanwhile, Doran was also happy after seeing his reaction to the new sword.

"An amazing sword! Do you have a name for this sword?"

"I call it the Tideripper! This sword shall accompany you as you make your mark in history!"

Blanc was happy because, throughout all of his battles, he was simply using a generic mithril sword which was mass-produced for the elite soldiers.

The Tideripper was undoubtedly a good weapon for him because not only does it suit his fighting style, but the water attribute combined with the heavy sovereign sword intent would make it very hard for the opponents to defend against his attacks.

Not only that, the Tideripper would also compliment his defensive fighting style because his heavy attacks would easily dissipate the enemy's attacks making him last longer in battle.

After a few more words of praise and gratitude, Doran left the throne room because he still needed to deliver another sword to Battalion Commander Alexander.

Even though Alexander was currently taking care of things at the fort, Doran insisted that he wanted to be the one to give Alexander his new sword and since no one could stop him, Blanc just allocated lots of elites to guard him on his journey.

After Doran left the room, one of his close aides, Alenna, entered the throne room. She then walked closer to Blanc and knelt in front of him.

"Your Majesty! There's news about the Samara Kingdom. As per our spies, the Samara Kingdom's royal army is already making preparations to invade the newly built Fort Shadowsong."

"In addition to this, the Kairuku Kingdom sent ten thousand men along with three Swordmasters to help the Samara Kingdom breakthrough Fort Shadowsong."

Blanc narrowed his eyes after hearing Alenna's report. He knew that this would happen sooner or later so he already made his preparations as well.

"I see, thank you for informing me, I shall have a meeting with Grand Marshal Helena about this. Make sure to send a messenger to King Terravalle IX and inform him about our situation. That's all, you're dismissed!"

Alenna bowed before leaving the throne room and once Alenna was gone, Blanc looked into the distance, in the direction of the Samara Kingdom.

"Helena, it's finally time to get our revenge…You better pray that I don't get my hands on you Samara because If I do, I'll have you live a life worse than death!"
