Chapter 144: Absorbed

"My lord, what's happening over there?" Nistar asked curiously, pointing to Lucas's body with her right leg, which had thawed and was trembling uncontrollably.

"He's dying, what else do you think it would be?" Edward replied, sitting on the sofa inside the cabin, looking out and seeing a look of ecstasy on Amelin's face; her eyes seemed to be shining with excitement.

"So, my lord, are you really going to kill him?" Nistar spoke with a sad expression.

"Why this sadness, did you grow fond of him or something?" Edward asked, noticing Nistar turning her eyes away, seeming embarrassed.

'What the hell is this? Why is this lunatic acting... Ahh,' Edward realized that Nistar's expression of sadness resembled that of a child whose toy had been broken.
