Chapter 57: Fifty Five

  Ralph tightened his arms. "I marked another because I hoped it would make you come back to me," he told her in a hollow voice. "I didn't know that you were in an accident so I thought you just didn't want me."

She was shaking her head and mumbling brokenly, but Ralph merely tightened his hold listening to her ramblings without interrupting. He understood what she was trying to tell him although the words were a jumbled mess.

Leo turned to catch the other eyes and growled getting their attention and tilting their head so the couple could have some privacy.

  He started to walk away and the others followed him Ethan n's wolf stood still briefly watching Ralph, and his mate, blue eyes steady and direct.

"Ethan n."

At the sound of his name, Ethan n's wolf whipped around to meet his Alpha's eyes which were regarding him intensely.

"It's time to go home."
