Chapter 1: Ironic. (Lottie)
The air was thick with anticipation, the whole school was stood outside about to witness my ending. For years the same individuals have caused me he'll, and now it was a week away from finishing for summer, to saying goodbye to them all. However, that luxury wasn't going to in the cards for me. I was already fighting back the tears as all 4 of them circled me, the cat-calling from my fellow students egging them on to proceed. My body was already trembling with fear as each one took a swipe barely missing me. I was done for, I knew this...I had it coming. Or so they said.
"Stupid little girl"
"You should have ended your life by now"
"Nobody wants you around"
"Guess we'll have to do the honor" they call laughed.
I braced myself as I saw the first swing that was finally going to make contact, I didn't even put my arms up to protect myself. They were right, I should have ended my life many moons ago. I wasn't welcome, I wasn't apart of them. I was a nobody.
"Yes Maddi, knock her out" one of my fellow class mates roared. I finally let a tear fall as her fist connected with the left side of my jaw. It was enough to make me stumble, somehow I managed to stay standing.
I wasn't able to stay balanced for too long, no longer had I felt the first connection, it was followed by many more. My hair was pulled, nails tore at my flesh, the stinging of my knees as they hit the gravel floor.
Then I blanked out or went off into some other world, I never really felt the kicking to my head, rubs, back, wherever they could connect. Not even the smell of metallic from my own blood brought me back.
"Filthy runt"
I know at one point through blurred vision I sensed him, my inner wolf cried with need, I couldn't focus to see who it was...who was my MATE. Darkness consumed me, and I gave up, everyone was going to get their wish. I was me no more...I was finally dead. Ironic that I would sense my mate just as I leave this earth.
